You were walking through the park with Olivia by your side.

Her warm hand was intertwined with yours and her sweet voice created a flutter in your heart as she spoke to you about her day.

It's late, sometime after midnight, but you're both wide awake because neither of you can sleep.

Instead of tossing and turning in your bed, you texted Olivia a little while ago to see if she was awake, and, much to your surprise, she was having the same problem.

So, despite the chilly night air and the darkness, she picked you up and you headed to the park for a walk.

"Are you getting sleepy yet?" She asked. "You seem kinda quiet."

"No, not sleepy. Just content and listening to you speak." You said with a slight smile. "How about you?"

"Not at all."

"I really wish I would've grabbed my sweater. It's a little cold." You said as you let her hand go so you could rub your arms.

Olivia frowned upon seeing you so chilly.

She cares about you far too much to let you stay cold.

"You're cold, my love? Why didn't you say something sooner?" She asked as she started to take her hoodie off.

"No, Olivia, you don't have to do that!" You protested.

But she'd already pulled it over her head and taken it off.

"I know." She said as you stopped walking.

She pulled it over your head and her eyes lit up, appearing to hold as many stars as the sky above you did.

"There. You look adorable." She smiled before kissing your lips.

"I feel bad. It's chilly out here. What if you get cold?"

"Well, then I'll just have to hold you close and give you cuddles."

The thought made your heart skip a beat.

"You look cute in my clothes." She said as she caressed your cheek.

And though her hand against your skin felt a little cold, you didn't care.

You enjoyed her touch regardless.

She kissed your forehead softly, making your eyes slip shut for a second.

"I love you."

"I love you too." You spoke back to her.

She took your hand and gave it a kiss before you began to walk again, much warmer and cozier now, and all thanks to her.
