"Hyunjin, what is it ?" Felix was intrigued.
"Um, my father, he uh- passed" Hyunjin started, but he was cut off by the loud responses of the rest of the group. "Hyunjin I'm so sorry !" , "sorry for your loss Hyunjin" "Hyunjin-". "Stop." Hyunjin said. "You guys haven't listened to everything yet." The group quieted down immediately. The mood became serious. "As I said, my father died. He left me with a lot of debt." Gasps were heard around the table. "I need-" the group anxiously waited. Was their friend going to ask them for money ?!

" I need you all to help me find a job."      Hyunjin finally finished. Everyone collectively released their breath. They had been holding it unconsciously. "Oh" Minho exhaled. "Um sure ! I'll try my best to help" Felix said trying to brighten up the mood. In short, it worked.
"My uncle owns a soup kitchen, he's been looking for someone to help clean up and cook, you can cook right ?" Han said his face was lighting  up.  "Oh yes, I think I'm a decent cook ?" Hyunjin said awkwardly. "Well then lovely ! I'll tell my uncle as soon as school ends !" Han said happily.

"So is tomorrow good for hanging out at my place ?" Han asked again.

"I guess so" Chan said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Yesss ! I'll text my address !" Han squealed

Soon everyone got up and headed to their classes, Bang Chan and Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin, and Minho, Han and Changbin all headed in groups to their respective classes.

Bang Chan looked at Hyunjin, the boy was deep in thought. "What are you thinking about?" Chan asked. "I'm just really glad I met you all..." The other responded with a smile. Hyunjin wasn't lying, these people were his first friends, and they were helping him with the situation he had. "All ?" Chan pouted. "Be specific !" He said looking at Hyunjin with longing eyes. The boy looked at the Australian, who was acting much younger than he actually was. "Fine, I'm really glad I met you." He chuckled. "See, I knew it." Chan said with an extremely wide smile on his face.

Hyunjin could only laugh, and somewhere along the way, the pair had held hands. Hyunjin missed this warmth, the warmth from holding hands with Chan.

It has been a few months since Hyunjin getting a job, with the help of Han and the rest of his friends. He was slowly paying off his (fathers) debt. The boy has gotten along with everyone in the soup kitchen.

"Run Hyunjin, run !" The boy thought to himself as he ran from the bus stop to the soup kitchen. He'd been painting and lost track of time. Leading him to being late to his job. "Hyunjin ?" Hans uncle (let's call him Mr. Sung) said opening the door before Hyunjin got there. The younger was running towards him he'd almost tripped on a lump of snow. "Hyunjin-ah ! Calm down !" Mr. Sung screamed from the foot of the door. Hyunjin smiled wide as he arrived at the door. "Sorry for being late Mr. Sung. " He said through huge breaths for air. "Call me uncle, Hyunjin" Mr. Sung said smiling at the boy, who had come running for him. "Okay, uncle" Hyunjin panted.

"Now come on, let's go" Mr. Sung said motioning inside the kitchen. Both males went in through the back door, to the kitchen.

"Hyunjin !" Mrs. Sung squealed. "Your here! Come help me with these vegetables !" Hyunjin sat next to the lady on the floor and started peeling some potatoes for her. Today they were going to make a broth. After helping Mrs. Sung, Hyunjin went to the dining area to do his waiter shift.

"Excuse me young man?" A old lady called

Hyunjin stepped over as fast as he could. " Yes ma'am?"

"I would love if you could recommend something for me, it's my first time here." She said.
