Riley's pov-
"Hey Maya"
"Hey where were you last night I didn't have anyone to help me with my homework"
"If I tell you the truth then you can't tell anyone deal"
"Deal"
"Ok" I say pulling Maya into the bathroom.
"I stayed at Lucas last night. We were watching tv and fell asleep. But if mom and dad ask I was babysitting and there parents don't get home till after school today. Ok?"
"Ok I promise I won't tell mom and dad you covered for me a bunch so it's my turn."
"Thanks"
"Yep now let's get to class if we're late dads going to kill us."
"True"
We run to class. I'm going to try to avoid dad as much as possible but, that's kinda hard when I sit in the front row of his class.
"Hi class. I hope you all got your homework done. And Riley where were you last night?"
"I was babysitting. And sorry I forgot to tell you and it was really late when I thought to tell you"
"Why weren't you home"
"There parents don't get back till after school today."
"Ok well who were you baby sitting for?"
"There names are the willsomes. I was babysitting there kids named Nash and Liric."
I can't believe I just lied to my dad in front of the hole class.
Lucas's pov-
-while that was happing-
Omg I so hope she doesn't get caught. It would be my fault if she did because I'm the one that invited her over. I start to listen. Omg I can't believe her she said she was babysitting someone named Nash. I run out of class about to cry. I see Riley she must have asked to come see me.
"Why would you do that Riley?"
"Do what?"
"Say you were babysitting a kid named Nash I told you about my twin named Nash last night I trusted you I didn't think you would tell anyone."
"I'm sorry I just said the first names that popped into mind. Just be happy I didn't say Nash and Lucas."
"I still thought I could trust you. I guess I was wrong."
"I'm sorry and you can trust me."
"I don't think I can anymore."
"What I can't believe you."
"You can't believe me your the one told about Nash. I'm sorry but if I can't trust you then, I can't be with you."
"What your braking up with me"
"Ya I'm sorry but if I can't trust you then I can't be with you."
