You look-... hot.

I wake up because of a random walkie talkie going off and Jane wakes up as well. "Fucking Mike." She whispers in a low tone. That's hot. I go towards her walkie talkie. "We are sleeping. Shut up." I say before laying back down next to Jane. "I got to get ready c'mon."  She starts to get dressed. "I- okay- e-"  I mumble. I get dressed, putting on a pink tank top and baggy jeans. Jane is wearing a crop top and jorts. "Max-"

"Huh?"

"Wanna go somewhere with me and the boys?"

"Sure?"

"Follow me-" She says and takes me to a forest with a creek nearby. Will is talking to Mike and Lucas and Dustin are in the creek splashing each other. "I thought you were over her??" Will says to Mike.

"I am! You just don't understand!!" 

I try to eavesdrop, but Lucas calls my name, "MAX! HEYY! HOW ARE YOU?"  I shrug.

"WATCH THIS!" He says going underwater and coming back up near the shore. He hugs me and kisses my cheek. I look at Jane and she smiles. "You look..- hot." Lucas smirks. No, no.. fuck I didn't want this to happen. "Thank.. you." I smile weakly. "LUCASSS!" Dustin shouts and Lucas turns around.

"SHUT UP!" He turns back to me

"Sorry I gotta go- you know Dustin haha" He runs into the water and Dustin splashes him.

Jane elbows me gently "You and Lucas huh?" she says jokingly. I shake my head no. Micheal looks at me and whispers to Will. Will's jaw drops. The fuck is he saying about me or Jane?? Jane holds my hand and I blush. "You do look nice" She says making me more flustered. "Shut up-" I say jokingly and she giggles. Lucas makes a heart gesture with his hands, so I do too. I don't wanna hurt his feelings. "Oooo" "Stop- no." Jane giggles again and I smile. She drags me towards Mike and Will. "OKAY WILL- Hey guys!" 

"Hi!"

"Why are you guys-"

Mike hugs Jane randomly. "Okay uh.." Jane stutters and I feel jealous. I hate Micheal. I look down and Will starts to talk about something completely random. I notice Mike and the brunette giggling and holding hands while walking off. "I swear he isn't over her." 

"What do you mean??"

"They broke up AGAIN and Micheal swears he's over El."

"El?"

"Jane. My bad!"

"Ohh-" 

Lucas swims closer to me and Will and randomly splashes me and the anxious boy. "Goddamn.." I whisper. I look at Lucas and smile. "JANE! WAIT UP!" I shout before running after the two. I catch up to the sassy boy and the sweet girl. "MAXIEE!" She exclaims hugging me. "J!" I exclaim. She pulls out of the hug looking at Mike. He fakes a smile. She turns to me and wraps her arm around mine and we start skipping back to cabin 12. Leaves crunch each time we take a step. I look behind me and see the other 3 boys. Water drips off 2 of them and have towels wrapped around their waists. One looks tired and the other two are wide awake and joyful. I turn back looking in front of me. The sassy fuckhead in front of me and Jane is dragging his feet crushing and crunching leaves. Jane is smiling and singing random songs

Skip to lunch

Jane eats and so does Will. The three other boys argue with their mouths full, spitting chewed food out sometimes, ew. I don't eat because of the boys arguing making me lose my apeitite ( idk how to spell lmaoo - the author. )  I go back to the cabin. I grab one of my comics and lay on the bottom bunk. The door opens, it's Jane. She smiles and lays next to me. "Whatcha reading?" 

"Wonderwoman comics!"

"Who?"

"The greatest superhero ever!! She's like so badass. Wanna read with me?"

She nods and I put the comic to where she can see it. She falls asleep next to me. I get up trying not to wake her. I put the comic back and see Lucas outside. I open the door and notice it's raining. Did he walk here during the rain? "You stalking me? Also, shh Jane is asleep." I whisper and he smiles. "Max..
