"Y/N! Wake up! Wake up! We're going to be late! Wake up wake up wake! Up!" Hermione, my younger sister, threw multiple pillows my way, some hitting me right at the head.
"Bloody Hell, Hermione! What do you want?" I groaned, grabbing one of the many pillows and covered one over my ears.
"What do I want? WHAT DO I WANT? Y/N! Today is first day at Hogwarts! Now chop chop!" I took the pillow off just to see Hermione flip her untamed hair and walk out the door. I rolled my eyes at the girl and got out of bed, ready to fix this crazy mess.
{Time skip bc why not}
"Bye mum and dad! See you soon! Have fun working in people's mouths!" I waved enthusiastically to my parents who looked like who wanted to cry.
"See you soon? You're not going home for Christmas?" Hermione asked.
I shrugged. "Eh, maybe. Depends on what happens, you know?" I grabbed a trolley for both me and Hermione's luggage and barely managed to get the stuff on the trolley. I should really invest in a sport, like Quidditch.
"Platform 9 3/4. That's where the letter said to go," Hermione informed me pretty loudly.
I rolled my eyes playfully at my little sister. "I know, I go there. Also, maybe tone down your voice, will you?" I shushed her, walking towards the platform.
I looked around warily before walking into the column, Hermione following behind me.
"Woah," she breathed out, taking in the sight of the express.
"Amazing, right? Let's go inside, some dudes will attend to our stuff," I said cheerfully, taking my sister's hand and leading her inside.

When we finally found an empty compartment, I slumped down into a seat and I sighed loudly. "There's a lot of wizards and witches.." Hermione said unconfidently, trying to make small talk.
I hummed in response and closed my eyes, until someone slid open the door and I jolted awake. It was a scrawny-ish looking guy, who looked panicked. "H-Hello, by any chance have you guys seen a f-frog?" The boy introduced himself as Neville, and knowing my sister, she took charge and stood up.
"I can help you, Neville. Sis, can you be on the lookout for a frog in here please?" Hermione said, about to shut the door behind her.
"Yup," I mumbled. Once Hermione shut the door, I was almost asleep until someone slid opened the door loudly.
"Merlin's beard! Can't a girl get some sleep around here?!" I yelled, my eyes partially still shut.
"If that girl is out dear friend, then yes, she can't get any sleep around here," I groaned as I recognized that teasing voice.
"The twins," I muttered.
"Ding ding ding! Correct! It is I, Fred and George Weasley. And we, have a question for you," George and Fred said, sliding in beside me.
"A question? Okay, shoot," I said groggily, still half awake from the nap.
"Why aren't you sitting with us? Have you found some Slytherin friends that are better than us?" Fred asked, pouting.
I rolled my eyes playfully. "No. I'm accompanying my little sister,"
Fred sits up, clearly surprised. "A little sister, hm? What's her name?"
"Hermione."
"Well then. If Hermione gets sorted into Gryffindor, you sit with us at the Gryffindor table and you hang out with us for a whole month, risking your perfect little Slytherin reputation. But if Hermione gets sorted into any other house besides Gryffindor, we can go back to our usual ways of hanging out in private because that's how much you love us," George proposed, slithering an arm around me.
