Olivea stretched and yawned as the alarm went off. She sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, trying to rub the sleep away. She got off the bed and headed straight for the bathroom. She quickly brushed her teeth and washed her face. She immediately returned to the room and got dressed. She grabbed her bible and song book along with her hat and headed through the door.

Olivea Simms was a short, light skin girl. Her curvy features makes her desirable by all men. She possesses a strong aura that has captivated everyone she has come in contact with. She had bow legs as well as natural hair that was long and well kept. She took pride in herself and everyone around her knows that. She is a third year student in college studying to become a teacher. She is the first child for her parents to attend college, a feat that has made her parents very proud. So proud that they couldn't stopped sharing it with others.

Olivea quickly walked up the stairs of the church and opened the door. As she walked through the door and entered the building, she closed her eyes as a smile crept up on her lips. She had goosebumps on her skin indicating the strong presence of the Holy Spirit that was dwelling within the four corners of the building. She sat in one of the benches and whispered a short prayer. She began humming a prayer hymn as she waited patiently for someone else to arrive. It wasn't until 10 minutes later that the Evangelist arrived along with two other members who came in behind her.

The Evangelist of the church was a very pleasant, no nonsense lady who believes that one should be faithful and true in their journey with Christ. She did not believe in the "one foot in and one foot out" but rather in the "whether you're in or you're out". She was proud of Olivea because she held her head very high despite the sparkles that were all around. She admired her for the passion she has for the Christian journey. She has always encourage Olivea to remain focus and to never allow the pleasures of the world to cause her to give up.

The prayer meeting began with a few songs from the hymn book followed by the exhortation of a chosen passage in the bible by the Evangelist. Olivea and the other church members prayed individually, with the prayer meeting coming to a close with the final prayer being prayed by the Evangelist. Afterwards Olivea and her brethren parted ways to go home.

The dogs greeted Olivea when she opened the gate to go into her yard. They wagged their tails as they brushed against her feet. She quickly went inside and headed towards the kitchen. She contemplated for awhile what she should make for breakfast. The thought of fried franks, eggs and bacon flooded her mind making her starting to drool. That thought became a reality as she decided to make the breakfast. Olivea quickly rounded up her family in the dining room to have their breakfast. After breakfast she quickly got herself ready for church as she did not want to arrive late.

The church was a walking distance from Olivea's home. The only church that is within the community. It has been serving the community for over 150 years. Almost all the members of the community has attended from they were children. The youth group was very much active with Olivea being the Youth Leader. They had gone on conventions and retreat together as well as other church trips. The members and the leaders were all of the same accord despite the few little foxes that have tried to spoil the vine on more than one occasions. The service lasted for 3 hours which included Sunday School and the Devine Worship. After the service, everyone greeted each other and parted ways to go home to finish cook with quite a few members who are planning to return for night service.

A big feast awaited the family on the dining table for dinner. They complimented Olivea on her cooking. She blushed as she tried to prevent them from praising her. She was not one who likes to be praised on anything that she has done. Everyone ate to their hearts content and had a smile on their faces as they left the dining room.

Olivea's mother was the only family member who accepted to fully embrace her faith. Together, she and Olivea shouldered the spiritual burdens. They prayed and sang together while they are at home. Mrs. Simms was a very strict woman who was overprotective of her six children especially her three daughters. This stemmed from a very painful event in her past which has logged behind her, one she has tried to get passed.

The Sunday evenings are very peaceful for Olivea as she is able to relaxed after dinner. She mostly likes to be in her room lying in her bed while listening to some jazz instrumentals being played. She got off the bed and started to pack her things for the next day for school. She realized that tiredness is creeping on her so she went to get a shower and went straight to bed.

The next morning, Olivea woke at 5:00am. She quickly rushed to the kitchen to heat the food that was left from the previous evening.  She brushed her teeth and took a quick shower. She made tea and drank it while eating. It was now 6:20am when she looked on her phone. Olivea quickly plugged in the iron and set up the ironing board to iron her uniform for school. She quickly got dressed and grabbed her backpack and ran out the door not wanting to missed the bus that will get her yo half of her journey.

Olivea quickly walked to her first lecture which had just began. She quickly walked into the room and sat down. This was her favourite course; Primary Science for Teachers. After lectures Olivea and her group mates went to the library to complete an assignment that was given three weeks ago. She had an afternoon lecture which lasted for an hour and a half, after which she went to get a taxi to go home.
