prom nigt and broken promises

Its prom night. To say im nervous would be a complete understatement.
Right now may is attempting to curl my hair, she insisted. But she keeps breaking down in uncontrolled sobs, my heart tuged every time a tear rolled down her face. Eventually i had enough of her burning me trying to curl my hair with blurry eyes, she was finally finished. I think i looked very descent. I had no make up on, i was natural.

As i walked down the stairs i could see Alistair at the bottom fidgeting as my grandfather glared him down. I stifled my giggle. "Pa, stop your scaring him." i slapped him upside the head, he rolled his eyes but eased his gaze.
"You look wow." Alistair breathe out.
"Thanks you look, wow too." i giggled when he blushed.
"Pictures!" my grandmother screamed running into the room with her digital camera.

After an hour and a half of agonizing picture taking we were finally at the high school and insde the gym, in the italy themed prom. The fake ifel tower glistened in the little twinkling lights twirling around it.
"Hey girl!" i tured my head to see may yelling at me waving fiercely. She had a red gown on and she looked beautiful, but what caught my attention was she was dragging a smiling jace behind her.
"Hey, when this happen?" i gestured between the two of them.
"Um, about an hour ago." jace said tilting his head like he was thinking.
"Oh?" i shrugged not really knowing what to say.
"Wanna dance?" Alistair asked snaking his arm around my waist. I nodded and he lead me to the dance floor, rihanna stay started to play.
We swayed gently to the music, my head resting on his shoulder. He held me close resting his head on mine. I thought about how my life changed on such a small amount of time.
I went from constantly fighting my own thoughts to being in the arms of a man i care dearly for.
"Alistair, i dont know what it is but i have this strong connection towards you. And i don't want to fight it." i don't jnow were this burst of confidence came from, but i got what i need off my chest. I looked up at Alistair to see him staring at me intently.
"Angel, i care so much for you, id take a bullet for you. Angel, i love you more than my next breath." my breathing hitched in my throat as his words sunk it.
"Alistair, i love you to." i smiled a real thousand watt smile.
Im happy. Truely happy.
Suddenly a wave of pain washed over me as i let a blood curling scream slip past my lips.
"Angel!" was all i heard before i drobbed to my knees letting out screams over and over again as the pain continues to surge through my body like a virus.
