Mark, Rayson, Stone, Bark, and I stood by our cars just in case we needed to make a quick escape. We talked about the huge news we heard in the city. When a pair of bright lights turned on, blinding us and taking us by surprise. We ran to our cars and stepped on the gas. This was a chase. We drifted around the corner onto the main road. As we split up, we were shouting at each other, through our radios. We needed to come up with a plan so we wouldn't get caught! As I sped away, I saw in my rearview mirror, the car that was following us. I knew he only wanted me.

I drifted around the corner to lose him, but he kept following me. I'm being chased. I know the city like the back of my hand. I knew all the roads, all the streets, and all the shortcuts in the city. I weaved through the city to lose him, but he was on my tail. He knew the city just like I did. It was like a labyrinth, I was weaving, and drifting around corners trying to get away. Death was following me.

I need to get out of this situation as soon as possible. I'll try to regroup with my friends, once I shake this person off of my tail. I took several sharp turns to try to get away. There was an alleyway near the side street. Maybe that is a way I can escape. I hoped that my plan would work but it didn't. He was still on me, ganging up on me, he was too fast. I acted quickly by taking a sharp and abrupt right turn into the small and cramped alley. It worked! My chaser flew right by the entrance to the alleyway. He circled the block multiple times hoping to catch me leaving but he never did. Soon he left, obviously frustrated that I outsmarted him.

I waited a few minutes after he left to make sure he was gone for good, before coming out of the alleyway and driving off quickly. It didn't take long to get to the hideout. It was an easy place to overlook. It was just several storage containers sitting in an abandoned lot. I pulled into the lot and saw my friends coming out of the shipping container and asked what happened. I told them what happened when we all went to our hideout. When all of us got inside our hideout I was done telling them the story and they hammered me with questions, which I answered all of them.

I didn't realize how late it was until I saw the sun peeking through the trees. I muttered "Oh shoot" and my friend sitting next to me gave me a questioning glance which I replied, "We have school today and we're going to be late!"

"Oh sh*t guys wake up!!" Bark shouted, waking everyone up. I remembered that our college is on the north side of the city. It would take three minutes to get there if the morning rush hour was not that bad. Everyone rushed around trying to get ready. As they got ready I ran out to get all of the cars warmed up. As I did that I saw something in the forest out of the corner of my eye or I thought I did. But when I turned my focus to the spot I saw the movement there was nothing there and it set me on edge.
