Cash P.O.V.
The lights of the ambulance were blinding. I looked over at Sky, who looked very confused and nervous. I could see the tears streaming down her checks. I don't even know why she cares so much.
I grabbed my stomach, which hurt very bad. I knew I couldn't cry infront of these people, then I would seem weak.
Before I knew it, we were at the hospital. They took me out of the ambulance, and rolled me into the emergency room.
They put me in a room and for a while no one came in.
After a while of waiting, a nurse came in.
"Hello. I'm Carla. I will be your nurse for the next couple of days." The nurse said.
"Next couple of days?" I asked.
"Yeah. You will be having surgery. But we don't know if it will be days, weeks, possibly months...." Carla said.
"Months?!? What about my family and Sky?!" I yelled at the nurse, which made my ribs hurt.
"Sweetie, you will be asleep the whole time. We will be giving you medicine so you won't even remember that you were here. But I'm afraid we can't sit around talking. We have to get you in to surgery now." Carla said, her voice very commanding.
She took the stretcher thingy I was on and started rolling me out of the room.
"Carla?" I asked.
"Yes, sweetie?" She responded.
"Will I remember Sky? Will I remember everything that happened to us?"
"Cash, I am very sorry, but I can't tell you the answer."
"What do you mean you can't tell me!? YOUR THE NURSE!!!"
"We don't know exactly how much the medicine will take away from you. I am sorry. Now hold out your arm."
I stared at Carla. Why would I want it all taken away?
"No." I said, staring Carla right in the face. I wasn't afraid of her.
"Cash, give me your arm."
"I said NO!!!" I screamed at her, as tears started to escape from my eyes.
"I CAN'T LOOSE SKY!!!"
Suddenly the door opened, and I saw a very familiar face. A face that made me happy. A face that belonged to Sky.
"Cash!" She yelled and ran over to me. She tightly wrapped her arms around me. The tears started coming, but for a different reason this time.
Sky P.O.V.
I looked at Cash. He looked so tired, and his checks were tear-stained.
I know why I came here, so I had to make this trip worth it.
"Cash, I need to tell you something. I heard that they were giving you some sort of medicine thing that could erase your memory, and before that happened, I just wanted to tell you I love you, and, in that episode of ' The Amazing World of Gumball ' we were watching, Darwin didn't die, he just drank a weird potion thing!"
He smiled, and then I realized that I was a five-year-old. I looked at the nurse who looked so confused. I looked back at Cash, and I let out a small laugh.
"Also, I wanted to do this," I said, then leaned towards Cash and kissed him.
"I wish you all the luck, don't forget, I'm here for you. I got your back. Bye Cash." I said as I walked out of the room.
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I was really gonna miss Cash. He was my best friend. And boyfriend. It really felt like my heart was breaking.
I walked out of the building and started to head home. I walked because I knew I would end up crying, and I didn't want anyone to see.
I looked back at the hospital and cried, but not the regular kind of cry. The kinda cry that happens when you know you won't see someone again.
I ran home as fast as I could, and ran up to my room. I plopped onto my bed and just cried.
This is when it really sucked to have no parents. I have no one to go to. No friends, no family, no one.
Cash P.O.V.
I could barely hold back the tears. I knew I had to. I snapped back to reality and Carla was standing right there, needle in hand.
"I'm sorry. But we have to do the procedure." She said to me.
She grabbed my arm and stuck the needle into it. Everything was dark. I tried to keep thinking of Sky. Her eyes, her smile, her. Suddenly she began to fade, and all I saw was another face, that had no meaning. And then she was gone.
