First Date

Y/N's POV

I head down to the park where me and Gerard met the next day at 6, and wave to him to get his attention. He waves back and walks up to me.

"Awww you missed me!"  He said giggling.
I playfully push his arm and walk with him to down town.
"So where would you like to go?" I ask.
"Well, I was thinking about this new coffee/bakery shop down a few blocks if you're interested, It even has a few cats!" He says that last part with a big smile on his face, I guess he's a cat person. I smile softly and we head down to the café.

We make it to the cafè and Gerard immediately goes to pet the cats, who are basking in the sunlight on the windshield. I laugh silently to myself as I go up and pay for our drinks. I get myself boba tea and Gerard some coffee.

I call Gee over and start talking while sipping our drinks.
"Sooo what do you do for work and fun?" I smile, trying to get a conversation going. He smiles back and replies.
"Well, work wise I'm not sure. My band just broke up, so now I'm doing my own solo album. Which is still pretty cool, but I kind of miss my old palls you know?"
I give him a sympathetic smile and nod.
"Oh alright. If you don't mind me asking, what was your band called, and what's your solo Album called?" I ask softly.
"Well, my old band was called My Chemical Romance, and my solo album im working on right now is called Hesitant Alien."

I nearly spit out my drink as my jaw dropped and eyes widened.
"Like, THE My Chemical Romance!? Do you know how much of a big deal you guys are here on earth!? I don't even think anyone knows you guys are aliens!" I say, really hoping I didn't scare him away. He smiles widely and nods.
"Wow! I had no idea we were this big on earth, I'll have to call the guys later! Hopefully my solo stuff will also get that much attention." He says while smiling wide.

"I'm so happy you're a fan of our music though, I'll have to play and sing you something sometime! What's your favorite album or song?" He questions, smiling just as big as before and taking another sip of his coffee.
"Hmm. Favorite song would probably have to be F/S, and my favorite album would probably have to be F/A. And I would love to hear you sing." I say while I smile softly. I can't believe I'm on a date with the lead singer of my favorite band.
He smiles as we both finish up our drinks, say bye to the cats, and walk outside.

"So what would you like to do now?" He questioned, looking at me with a soft smile.
"Well, would you like to go back to my apartment and hang out for a bit?" I say while blushing and looking into his black eyes.
He smiles softly and nods, calling up an Uber to take us to my place.
