Amara

My whole, I was forced to make difficult decisions. This one was the worst.

"I want to put an end to the sufferings this war brought, and watch the clans return to the peaceful times of our forefathers." The lady cleared her intentions.

"However, I cannot do it alone" She sighed sipping her tea.

"Despite my best efforts, I've come to realize that any alliance between our clans cannot be forged in ink" She paused taking note of our expressions.

"Only in blood" She exhaled glancing around the room, more like searching for a certain someone.

"As I see it the vampires will never see the end of this war" She continued.

"Not until it has gained prince's favor" I frowned at her words.

"And his Highness cannot become king, until he obtains" She smirked, glancing me up and down.

"Something else" She removed her piercing gaze.

She has been eying me, since she entered the room.

Just what on earth, does she want from me.

"A Bride" She muttered as my father banged the table the moment his suspicion got cleared.

"As per His Majesty's request - A princess with The Royal Blood of Moon"
She sighed resting her hand on the table.

"You're out of your Dann mind, Shinah"
My uncle shouted.

"The wolves have decimated their bloodline for centuries" He gritted controlling his anger that was genuine.

"I would rather Die than watch my niece be handed off as an Appeasement Gift to that" He paused

"That Savage" I could feel the tension rising in the room.

"Why you black-blood pompous" She muttered feeling on the edge.

"Enough" My father spoke up slamming the table.

"For all it's worth, I won't pretend that I trust you" His Majesty coughed indicating his brother to stay silent.

"But if you truly intent to end this war, I'm willing to-" Uncle Mortimer cut his majesty off who was trying to prove his point.

"For Heaven's sake brother" Uncle shouted at his majesty to which the guard pointed the spears around his neck.

His Majesty waved them to put the tools down, willing to hear his brother's point.

"Zion is mad! She's just trying to lead us into a trap" Uncle pointed at the women who just chuckled.

"If you do this, we lose this war" Uncle muttered.

"And if I don't, We lose either way" My father sighed.

"If I must add, I think his majesty is correct." I raise my hand to make them known of my presence.

It took me by surprise, they were discussing my future without me being involved in the conversation.

I sighed remembering a certain someone's words.

A princess's should never concern in the royal matters.

But I think I need to indulge or this will end in further bloodshed.

"While we continue to hold our ground, Our people are starving" That was our reality, a millions years of war will only make the poor suffer.

Meanwhile the Zion's armies have already taken control of Astapor, our popular city.
