Sun lit room, clear as can be
Pure golden eyes staring, bright as can be
Peace, tranquil and serenity
Surrounds the virtuous entity
Illuminating
Unluckily, body and spirit are a likely contrast
One pure the other tainted by trials past
But attraction begs to differ
Darkness seeps in, coming as a sliver
Gradually overtaking what's left of her purity
Light and beautiful diversity
Though often darkness becomes the enemy
Causing inner turmoil through enmity.
