The beginning of love

"This stupid rain! UGH!" Kassie was out in the street and it had started to rain heavy. She forgot her jacket and her umbrella. "I hope this rain stops...I could get sick or even worse!" As Kassie is walking to the bus top to wait on her bus, she slips in a puddle and falls into someone arms. In her mind, she kept thinking "don't let me go, keep me close..." but eventually she got out of her fantasy and rose up to see who had kept her from falling. "oh hello there miss! thought you were gonna stay in my arms forever!" Kassie laughed and he laughed with her. The man picked up Kassie's hand and kissed it and muttered "Kiss for the beautiful lady." The man introduced himself as Joshua. Kassie thought he looked oddly familiar. Then it hit her! He was the mayors son. Kassie only saw him on build boards outside of her small village in Wonderville promise. She never actually saw him personally. Part of her was nervous. Another part was shy. They started talking while Kassie was waiting on her bus. She learned that he was actually adopted by the mayor and the mayor was not has biological father. She also learned that his parents died a couple of years back. Part of her felt sad and another part of her understood. Kassie's mom died after giving birth to her. Her dad had been already dead before she was even born. She lived with her grandma and her 14 cousins. After the talk, her bus arrived and they had to say goodbye. Joshua gave Kassie his business card and said she could stop by the office anytime for a chat. She happily accepted. Kassie knew that Joshua Rains Putson was going to be her first love.

"GRANDMA IM HOME!" ,Kassie yelled as she threw her bag down in relief. "Oh dear! Welcome home! Please take a seat. Ur supper is on the counter. Made your favorite.", Grandma said in a cheerful voice. "So,Kassie have you found yourself a job?",Grandma asked hopeful. Kassie sighed and Grandma knew that she hadn't found one yet. "Things will work out in the end Kassie. I promise you." Kassie nodded and continue to eat her supper. "Where is Isabella? I need to speak to her.",Kassie said ."Oh!,Isabella left to go get groceries for tomorrow night's supper. That ole thing is taking her time alright. She needs to hurry up!" Kassie chuckled at Grandma and smiled. After Kassie ate her supper, she washed up and put on her rundown vintage pajamas. She kneeled down on two knees and prayed. "Dear Father God, please let me find a good job! Give me a sign or miracle. Thank you, Amen." She got up from her knees and checked on her cousins. (Her cousins were all happily asleep!) After she checked on her cousins, she went to her grandmothers room. She planted a kiss on her forehead and told her goodnight. "Goodnight my love. Good and happy dreams!" Kassie smiled and went back to her room. She went into bed, and hoped that tomorrow would be a better day for her.
