Belly pov

The fisher boys , I've known them my whole life , our parents are best friends so even summer we go to their beach house in cousins I think about these two months through the whole year 

I've been going to cousins for as long as I remember the dad's normally come down for the 4th of July, but it's not the same as just the mom's and kids, which is how we like it really.

"Thinking of Jeremy," my best friend Taylor says, snapping me out of my daze , I'd been sat with the window wide open my arms folded on the door resting my head on my arms "is jeremiah" I say with a laugh she's always called him that

She knows I've had a crush on him since I turned 12, and so has my brother, my mom, and their mom. Everyone knows, besides Connie and Jere, well, at least I don't think they know.

We soon get to the summer house, and I instantly start smiling as my brother parks . Susannah is the first to come out of the house, and my mom is the first to get out of the car to great her best friend in a hug

Soon, Jeremiah comes out and embraces my brother Steven in a hug and gets lost in conversation with each other,  Taylor and I then hop out, and I stand at the side  of the car smiling at Conrad who walk out from the side of the house who smiles back the second he sees me

"I liked you better with glasses," he says as he reaches me as he examines my face as if he's trying to make sure I'm still the same person....I've changed alot since last summer "well too bad I like me  better without them" I say making him smile the rub the top of my head making me laugh and swat it away then embraces Taylor in a hug

I look back over at Jeremiah, who's already seemed to be looking at me smiling. " Belly Jelly has all grown up," he says as he does a light run towards  me, then hugs me, lifting me off my feet, spinning me around.

Jeremiah pov

I wait for this every day of the year. Steven and Belly are like family to me. I've always seen them as a brother and sister, Belly has recently been bringing her best friend Taylor with her and my brother has a massive thing for her but he's never done anything about it maybe this year will be different

They finally show up, and Steven is the first person I greet us. Three boys have always been close. We do pretty much everything together during the summer. "It's going to be awesome working at the club together," I say, and Steven instantly agrees I'll be working as a lifeguard while Steven and Conrad are working at the smoothie bar

After talking for a while, my attention is caught by the sound of Bellys laugh. I turn to look at her, and it's like everything about her change : she's taller , her hair is longer , she doesn't have glasses, and her braces are off

She's gorgeous

" Belly, Jelly is all grown up," I say, smiling and running over to her, embracing her in a hug, lifting her off her feet , spinning round as we both laugh , having her this close to me after not seeing her in a year the way she is now....its like everything has changed

I soon snap back into reality and put her back down on her feet. we stand there smiling at each other

Im lost looking into his bright blue eyes mesmerised by them like im in a trans

" yo yo, you see the time," Stevens voice says, making us both look at him as he walks towards us with conrad. He's tapping his arm as if there's a fake watch. There

"I don't know about you, but" he says

"I think it's time for a belly flop," Conrad and Jeremiah say with Steven at the same time, knowing we do this every year i take off running laughing as Steven grabs me but I manage to get out of his grip but it doesn't get me very far because a pair of arms wrap around my waist stopping me in my tracks

Conrad grabs my one leg, and my brother grabs the other . The three of them carry me over to the pool, "one ... two.... three" they chant while swaying me and throw me into the pool once they reach three, making me scream before I hit the water

"How's the water?" my brother says as I resurface all 3 of them laughing together  

"Guys, I hurt my ankle," I say, obviously faking it . Of course, Jere falls for it and walks over to the pool as I reach my arm out for him to pull me out , as he grabs my hand I pull him forwards making him flip into the pool making me laugh

"Belly," he says as I laugh and swim away, but he grabs my arm and pulls me back under with him . Under water, he's only inches away from me
