An Unusual Time at Ninjago High School

The Rescue

Melody POV

"Wait," I said. "Where's Lloyd?" "He's not here," Nya said. "Correct," Zane said.

"I thought we had everyone here," Jay said. "I guess we didn't save Lloyd like we did to you," "He's your friend!" I said. "How could you leave him behind like that?" "You're the new ninja!" Jay yelled. "You're more important!"

"Guys!" Cole yelled. "We need to stop arguing and focus on the situation." "You're right," I said. "I remember the last time I saw him was that he was screaming before you guys were carrying me." "The fired Generals must've taken him," Kai said. "We shouldn't have left him behind." "Melody, you were right," Jay sighed. "We're terrible friends," "And sub-par ninjas too," Zane said.

"That's right. That's right." Kai replied.

"Wait! Guys!" Cole said. "Do you hear that?" He's right! We could hear talking in the distance and run to see where it had come from. 

"Um..." Jay said.

"Oh no!" Nya said in horror

It seemed like it came from a volcano. I see multiple generals chanting something near the volcano, and a small group of generals were carrying a cage. And inside was...

"LLOYD!" We all yelled.

"He's in trouble," Cole said. "Kai was right. The generals took him and Garmadon. We need to save them!" "What do we do?" Kai asked. "Theres so many of them," "Thats so many generals," I said. "Why did Garmadon fire so many of them?" "We don't know," Nya said. "But we can still do this guys. We just got to figure out how to be real ninjas."

" You know what would be really brave?" Jay asked. "Making camp, sleeping for the night, wake up in the day..." "Yeah, that's brave." Kai agreed.

"But not what we needed right now," I said. "Any ideas?"

"Wait, Zane! Don't you have like seven hundred gigabytes of martial arts movies on your hard drive?" Nya asked

"Correct." Zane said, beeping.

"Great! Roll 'em!" Nya said. Zane gave us some martial arts movies, and they were really cool. We learnt so much from it by the time it was done playing. "Woah!" We all said when it was done. "Ay-ay-ay." Zane said.

"I learned so many things so fast." Nya said.

"Me too!" I agreed.

"That's right. That's right." Kai said.

"I'm ready!" Jay said.

"Time to get down and dirty." Cole said, putting his hood on and putting some dirt on his face. "Ninja style." "Alright!" We agreed, and Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole put on their hoods as well.

To start our sneak plan, Nya goes underwater and shoots a jet of water upwards, distracting some generals. "Whoa! Is that a whale?" A shark general asked. Nya then pulls the general underwater. "Whoa!" Another shark general yelled after Nya pulls him underwater. "Aah!" Another general yelled as Nya pulls him into the water

"Guys, no swimming. We just ate! Aah!" A crab general said, before Cole knocks her out. 

Up in a lookout tower, Jay rubs his scarf to create a static charge and shocks the guard. Then Nya, Cole, and Jay signal the rest of us that the first few generals are out. Then we regroup on a roof. "Time to blend in." Nya said.

We knock out various Generals and steal their clothes to use as disguises. The Generals start pushing the cage towards the volcano. I am now dressed as a female shark general, and even though the clothes are disgusting, they will help me blend him. "Let's go to the volcano and save Lloyd," I said.
