Chapter 6 - New Home

I woke up in a bed with arms wrapped around my waist. I turned around and was met with the face of the one and only Denki Kaminari.

"ACK!" I yelled falling off the bed. His head shot up from the yell and then the loud bang and he looked over to see me on the floor with an angry look on my face.

"Morning" he greeted me with a sweet smile. I scoffed.

"I just woke up in some random place and the first thing yo I think to say or me is 'morning'??" I yelled, using a shadow to flick his head.

"Ow! Sorry about that. Yeah after you fell asleep the heroes explained what happened and we came to a compromise. They won't call the cops as long as you live here with me. They're telling them you got picked for some project so your staying with me for a while. God I was there when they made the call and I feel bad for you cause they at first tried to make them give it to Bakugo instead but then when they heard you wouldn't be at their house they said yes but they want to speak with you when you go to pack a bag." He informed me, and my eyes began watering.

"Thank you Denki" I cried, the words slightly muffled by his shirt as I hugged him. He chuckled and hugged me back, the deep laugh sending vibrations through his chest.

"Of course, though you have others to thank as well. Mina is the one who went to the teachers and of course the teachers for doing this. Also we're going to your house in about 3 hours to get your things. Don't worry both me and Aizawa will be there with yo iso she can't do anything" he assured me, resting his chin on my head.

"Mk." Was all I said as I snuggled more into Denki, resting my head on his chest as I basically cuddled the Pikachu boy.

"Morning you two" a soft voice came from the door is it opened, revealing a woman with yellow hair lien Denki's and a very soft welcoming face.

"Oh this is my mom" Denki told me when I sent him a questioning glance.

"Think you for having me Mr. Kaminari" I said with a slight head bow.

"Call me Narihana please. Your a guest here. Plus your my son's boyfriend" she to me and my face went red.

I snapped my head towards Denki who was also red and was glaring at his mom.

"Best friend mom. I said best friend" he told her sternly but her just laughed and walked away telling us breakfast was ready.

When she left I went to the bathroom while Denki changed and gave me a pair of jeans and a hoodie to wear.

For some reason he was my size in jeans so they fit perfectly even if the sweatshirt was a little big.

While a was fixing my hair I felt someone come up behind me and rest their chin on my shoulder.

"Y'know we could make what my mom said true~" Denki purred in my ear. I blushed but managed to hide it sort of.

"Ew Denks shut up!" I shouted smacking his chest. He chuckled along with me but I thought I saw a bit of sadness in his eyes, but it was gone before I could be sure.

We headed downstairs and I had the first meal that wasn't made by me in over a year. I was so happy with Denki and his parents I hoped it never had to end but of curse we still had to go get my things.

We said goodbye to his parents and began the walk to my house. On the way he looked at me with a smile as he must have remembered something.

"Oh by the way Aizawa wants you to quit your job since your living with me now and my parents are going to spoil you because they don't have a daughter." He told me with a smirk but it faded when he saw my sad expression.

"I can't just let your family pay for everything! I have a job I should be able to afford my own things it's selfish to ask people for things like that!" I exclaimed, repeating what my mom used to tell me all the time.

"Y/n look at me. It is not selfish to be able to depend on someone as a 16 year old. There's a reason UA has the no working policy, it's because students should be able to rely on their parents or guardians for things they need, and things they don't need" he told me sternly, taking my hands in his.

I sighed but nodded reluctantly, allowing him to wrap an a around my shoulders and hold me close to his own body as we walked.

We arrived at the house and I saw Aizawa jump down from a building across the road and run over to us.

"Ready Y/n?" He asked me, giving me a reassuring smile.

"Yeah. Oh and thank you for all of this" I said. He must have gone through many different measures to make this lie happen, and I'm sure the other teachers helped as well.

Denki P.O.V
While Y/n got dressed I was texting Mr. Aizawa.

Mr. Aizawa:
You ready?

Me:
Yeah we are grabbing food and we'll be there in about an hour.

Mr. Aizawa:
Good. She believed the lie?

Mr. Aizawa:
Yes sir. She's coming back right now I have to go see you soon.

The truth was we were telling her mom there was a program but we were having a bunch of other heroes there so we could get evidence of her mom hurting her without using the bruises on her own body.
