Moving into a dorm

I nervously opened the door to my door, dragging the heavy luggage behind me. 'Ugh why did I pack so much' I thought. I noticed someone  unpacking their bags near the window. I thought for a second wether to say anything or not, I decided to at least say hello so I wouldn't seem rude. "Uh, hello!" I greeted awkwardly.

They jumped slightly in surprise but then said hello back. "Oh! Hii!! I'm Angelica! Who are you?" They asked, now facing me. I smiled as they greeted themselves, "I'm Penelope! And I love the name Angelica!" I stayed smiling as I walked to one of the empty beds to place my stuff down. 

I saw them smile before they started to speak again, "You really think so? Everyone always says my name's weird and stuff like that." She said, closing her drawer and getting up to sit on her bed. I slightly frowned hearing that some people disliked her name. "Yeah! I really like it." I answered, putting some more of my stuff away.

"Awww! Thank you! Your names really pretty too!" She beamed while smiling, I smiled back excited about how quickly I had made a friend. "I wonder who the third person in here is!" She said. I looked up at her, "You're welcome and thank you as well. I also wonder who the third person will be. Thanks for making me less worried for school!" I was now smiling really big from the amount of kindness from Angelica.

I noticed Angelica's face look like she remembered something. I saw her grab a bag and start looking through it. "Your welcome and..." she paused, looking like she found if she was looking for. "I've got nature top trumps! You wanna play?" She asked, finally pulling out the thing she had been looking for. "Oh sure!" I exclaimed, trying to look at what she had just pulled out. I had never played it before but I was willing to try!

"Great!" Angelica smiled. I smiled back being glad that I didn't get a mean roommate, instead I got a very kind one. 'I hope our other roommate isn't rude either' I signed, now nervous again. After we played I was drained, our roommate still hadn't arrived yet it was already getting quite late. We had classes the next day and I needed to make sure I had enough sleep to get me ready for the big day. 

"I'm going to get ready to go to bed!" I smiled, getting clothes to get change into. I showered and practically passed out as soon as I got into bed.

That's me unpacking! And Angelica is written by EggOnToast123, amazing person and I love their writing style and I'm really happy to be in a dorm with them! My other roommate is Tenshiry, I think their OC's name is George. I don't know when or if we will interact but, I'm excited to see what will happen in this roleplay and everyone I will meet. I will update how my first class went after the second class starts, and I will update the second class when the third class starts and so on! Have fun reading this!
