—. "Late emperor—!" An old man said as he quickly ran to the previous emperor seeming eager to tell him something "stephen, what is it?" Osis asked as he stood facing the huge windows looking outside "emperor sovieshu, he brought home a girl" stephen bowed as he told the news
"A girl?" He repeated as he continued to look outside the huge windows "romours have it that she is a runaway slave." Stephen said straight to the point. Osis remained silent "it is said that the girl got stuck in one of the hunting traps, foolish of her. But it seems that your son is very doting of her and would visit her often and bring in her meals himself" he continued
Osis stayed quiet for a while "on top of that your imperial majesty. He ordered the empress's lady's-in-waiting to bathe her" stephen continued again. Osis then turned around to face him "the lady's-in-waiting of the empress are high ranking noble's that do not even bathe themselves and only wets their hands for the empress. Yet sovieshu has told them to bathe a runaway slave?"
The tone of his voice seemed dumbfounded and annoyed. "Has navier confronted sovieshu about it?" He asked "last night when they had dinner. Sovieshu was very defensive about the girl and didn't like navier bringing up the topic" stephen replied
Osis grasped his chin as he thought, he seemed annoyed a lot then after a few moments he let out a sigh "what nuisance, follow me. Let us stroll in the garden" he ordered as he walked out stephen following him from behind
—. He strolled around as he noticed, the empress with a white haired girl. He was about to head towards them when he saw the white haired girl pull the empress's dress making it rip and even heard her address her as you. He ran to navier as her lady's-in-waiting also arrived by her side
They all seemed furious as the looked at the girl. But osis seemed to be even more furious, countess eliza smacked the girl's hand away from the empress as she said "how rude of you!"
"Err..i- im sorry, i should've addressed you more properly its just that i didn't know what to call you..." The girl said as she looked at navier "her majesty is the empress if the eastern empire. Be mindful of your manners!" Laura spat at the girl
"What? No its not that. I know you're the empress" the girl said as she continued to look at navier "you know of me?" Navier asked seeming tired of the situation "his majesty has kindly allowed me to stay at the eastern palace" the girl said happily
"Ah, you're that slave?" Navier said to her, then one of the girls rashta was with came in "your majesty —! Please forgive my forwardness but lady rashta is not a slave" she said, navier let out a sigh as she narrowed her eyes "is that so? I see"
Osis and stephen continued to watch things unfold "im so happy we ran to each other! I was wondering when to come see you" the girl said "either way we'll be meeting each other all the time soon! So i think it's best to meet each other first! What should i call you?" She continued looking happy
"Just call me "your majesty" that should suffice" she said as she turned around and placed her hand on osis's arm hinting him to go
As they turned their backs and were about to leave rashta tried to touch navier again but laura smacked rashta's hands "how filthy" she stated looking angry at the girl
"Whats filthy?" Sovieshu arrived at the scene as he ran to rashta who was crying, he quickly confronted her. Navier saw this and clenched her hands, osis noticed and patted her back and gave her a reassuring nod
Navier wanted to leave but sovieshu stopped her telling to leave her lady-in-waiting laura, "she shall be locked up for three days" he said "i refuse" navier said "that is so lowly" she stated "whats more lowly than a noble calling an injured girl filthy?"
"You" osis stated, "to think you'll lock up a noble girl just for her without knowing the entire situation first and only basing it from what you heard. Tell me, isn't that utterly lowly of you?"
