"Everyone's broken" They say,
We know it to be true.
But no one ever thinks,
"We can be fixed, too."Melinda, a cracked pot,
Since the age of six.
With some glue and elbow grease,
Could easily be fixed.Yes, she will have a crack,
May never be the same.
But with someone's help,
Will pour her tea again.Anne, a rose,
Wanting to fade and wilt.
Could be saved with tender care,
Watering, and her pot rebuilt.Yes, she may have lost a petal,
May have gained a few thorns.
But she is hardier for it,
And is left feeling reborn.Or Emmett, a paper,
Who took a pencil to the page.
Whose traces could be erased,
And pushed farther and farther away.Yes, marks can still be seen,
But they don't get to him.
They were him in the past,
But he know better now, even when grim. There are other kinds, too,
Quilts and hooks and music boxes.
So just stay aware,
And don't be one who just watches. We are all broken, including you,
We can be fixed, if you know what to do.
How about this? Let's make a game.
I'll tell you me, then you tell me you.A/N: I am ducttape. People use me, then get mad that I don't do as well as they expected me to. (because ducttape kinda sucks)
Fix: Ducttape wallets. Hell yeah.
