It was a week after the photo shoot that Lee had done and the magazine was to come out the next day. Axl was nervous and asked if he could go home early to prepare something special for Lee and himself. But he had to contact Maverick for some help.

"Mav, hi! I need Noah and Chloe to spend the night by you guys tonight. Plus will you take Lee out for about an hour to buy himself something to look stunning in. I have something special planned for the both of us." Axl asked Maverick with hope filling his voice. "Sure but what do you have planned? Maybe I can help." Maverick asked curiously. "That you can find out much later after it has happened. I just have plans." Axl insisted. " Ok cool so in the lines of what should we go shopping for?" Maverick asked. "Just make sure it's something formal-ish and he must look stunning." Axl said picturing Lee in his mind, grinning to himself. "Ok so when must I come pick up the three of them?" Maverick asked. "In about half an hour. Just give me chance to get Lee dressed to go out shopping, and get the kids packed for the evening. By the way do not let the kids come back until I let you know it's time. And I will give you my credit card for the outfit that Lee must get, make sure that he has his hair done too." Axl insisted. "Hell Axl, you're really going all out. If I didn't know better I would say that you are going to propose." Maverick said proudly taking a shot in the dark. "Well we shall just have to see, won't we?" Axl said grinning.

As Axl got off the phone to Maverick he knew that convincing Chloe and Noah to spend a night by Maverick would be easy but getting Lee to go shopping right now with Maverick would be a problem. "Chloe I need your help with something. I need dad to go shopping with uncle Maverick. And you guys to have a sleep over at uncle Maverick's house for tonight. I mean it's Friday so you can come back tomorrow sometime, then do your school work, ok? But I need dad dressed to go shopping, please." Axl begged Chloe Chloe which confused her at first but got the idea that there was something more to this that her Pa was going to tell her later. "Sure you have to promise to tell me what this is all about, before I do anything." Chloe insisted standing her ground. Axl gave Chloe a terrified look but caved. "Sure, but you can't tell a single soul." Axl insisted. Then proceeded to whisper his little secret to Chloe. When he was done she nearly screamed of excitement at the top of her lungs but was immediately sushed by a anxious Axl. She immediately went to Noah's room and told him to pack a overnight bag. Looking at him like she mentioned business. Scared of her he just listened and did as he was told without asking questions. She then proceeded to go to Lee that was watching television in bed. He did not know that Axl had come home yet and Axl didn't want him knowing. Chloe had to get him out of the house and then he would carry out his plans. So he decided to hide in the nursery for the babies as it was not finished yet.

Maverick had to tell Cole that he was going to take Lee shopping for Axl and that the kids would be sleeping over. Cole loved the idea of having the kids come over but was wondering why Maverick was asked to take Lee shopping he knew something was off. But decided Axl would tell him about it soon enough. Meanwhile Chloe was trying to get Lee dressed and out of bed. "Dad you need to get dressed like right now. Uncle Maverick just phoned me, and said he wants you to go shopping with him at the mall for something urgent." Chloe said calmly. "You that I can't afford to go to the mall with Pa coming home soon and looking like this. And I'm not here then he would be very worried and maybe even upset. And then you would be in trouble for telling me to go, missy." Lee scolded Chloe. "Well no need to worry about Pa, he knows about you going to the mall. He said that it was fine as long as Maverick makes sure you get plenty of rest." Chloe replied cockily. "Ok, I guess I will get dressed then. When did you say Maverick would be here?" Lee asked. "In about 15 minutes. Oh, Noah and myself are going to sleep over at uncle Cole's house tonight as well. Uncle Cole asked that we help him start with setting up the nursery at their house. We already got permission from Pa, so don't worry. Uncle Maverick will pick us all up and drop Noah and myself off first at his house then go to the mall." Chloe explained to Lee. Lee was starting to get irritated with the situation at hand. First he has to go shopping right now with Maverick and next the kids have to sleep over to help Cole with the nursery. They scarcely decided to go the whole suragocy route and now they want to set up the nursery. That should be done later into the pregnancy, or at least when they know the gender or something. Not now. So Lee eventually decided to go with this weird dynamic for the evening as it was better than sitting in bed and binging Netflix. But weirdly enough Axl was extremely fine with this whole plan of Cole and Maverick. Lee wondered why.......

So Axl is up to something. Maybe a romantic evening for 2? But he had to get everyone's help to pull this off as a surprise for Lee. Lee doesn't seem to be interested in the little secret much. Chloe can come up with a lie very quickly and pull it off. She needs to become a actress.
