School for WHAT!!!!

Clare's POV

I woke up to my alarm clock screaming. My hand softly reached over and tapped it. I guess you could say I am a soft person. Also im almost mute in a way. I don't like wasting my breath and plus I am super shy so yup.

I am also not a normal girl. I have these two....ummm.... abilities I guess you could say. I rarely use them but their there. I know it and so do my parents. When they found out three years ago I was Home schooled so i never finished Middle school with my friends.

It's not to bad but I also can't control it. Anyway on with the day. I got up and walked over to my desk. I brushed my short brown hair and put on my glasses. I walked to my dresser next and pulled out a black skirt with long white socks and a black t-shirt. I quickly got dressed.

Don't worry I took a shower last night. When I was done with that, my hazel eyes looked around my room and spotted my panda hoodie. Ya I love pandas so what? I put it on and looked in my mirror and growled playfully. I couldn't help but giggle.

I walked down stairs and caught sight of my mom fussing over my brothers clumsy attempts to eat his omelet. He's 12 but a very messy eater. My father noticed me and grinned. "Good morning Mai!" He said happily, almost too happily. I nodded in response.

My Parents know that I prefer not to talk and don't force me. I grabbed a plate and got some hash brown and some bacon. I ate and went back to my room to watch some anime while I wait till my dad comes back. They had some news, when you don't speak a lot you learn to observe so I know when they have news.

Mom got home and just as I expected they called me down. I walked down and sat down at the table. They looked at each other and smiled. "Ok Mai the news is we are allowing you to go to school." my mom explained. I smiled happily. "But not at any school. A school for special Kids like you Mai!!" They smiled at me. " Now you can learn to control your powers. We love oyu and want what is best for you. My Dad said. I was still stuck on the school part.'A school for WHAT!!!' I thought.
