The 7-member group, whose fanbase is expanding, officially debuted in Japan in June this year.

They just released their third single 'Danger - Japanese version.' This song is about men suffering in love. To Bangtan Boys, who is having a hall live (concert) in Japan soon, we interviewed them about their new single and live.

Your second Japanese single 'Boy in Luv' received great results by being #4 on the Oricon charts. You're also very successful in Japan. What do you think about this?J-Hope: Really? (in regards to popularity in Japan) Because I don't feel it...

Rap Monster: Also, we weren't able to come back to Japan again after the 'Boy in Luv' promotions.

Jimin: But it's something to be happy about that our Japanese promotions go smoothly. As a singer, anyone would want to spread their music as far as it can go. I'm truly grateful to those that like us.

Jin: I want to express my thanks again to our Japanese fans' support. We will continue to make good music and continue our activities in Japan. Please look after us.

You also have high popularity among the readers of 'What's In?'

J-Hope: Wow! Is Bangtan Boys also published in it? (saying while flipping through 'What's In?' magazine)

Rap Monster: You'll see soon (laughs).

You just released your third Japanese single 'Danger - Japanese version.'

Rap Monster: The lyrics describe love that's not going smoothly and the story of men's irritation towards it. Please be sure to pay attention to the lyrics.

V: The most important line is "惑わせるな、もう!" (Don't make me confused again!) I also really like Jimin's part.

Jimin: Thank you! (holds V's hands). I had to sing it a couple times when I was recording. The rap in this song is quite difficult.

Jungkook: This line is good too "だめだ おい! ふざけてるのか?" (Hey that's not right! Are you kidding me?) Rap Monster's rap is also really cool.

Everyone is praising each other (laughs).

J-Hope: (laughs) Your mood will gradually become higher while listening to 'Danger.' I think you gain energy listening to this song so I want everyone to feel it too. I like my own part! "Unlock the world."

Rap Monster: That would be nice (laughs).

It reflects the hip hop sound which is quite impressive.

Suga: The Korean version was recorded in Los Angeles. A lot of time was spent on the sound and it took a lot of experiene to do the mastering before being able to produce a satisfactory finish. But it was great working with a famous studio engineer. I really learned a lot.

Let's talk about the lyrics again. Being irritated because love isn't going smoothly - have you experienced that before?

Rap Monster: I experienced it when I was in middle school (laughs). I thought about that time when I was writing the lyrics. There's parts that I was able to write based on my own experiences.

V: I also experienced that when I was a little kid. I was about 7 years old.

Jin: Woah~! (laughs)

V: Although this song has the meaning of 'in order to succeed in love, don't be easily fooled,' I failed because I was fooled (laughs).

Jin: Unfortunately there's nothing much I can say about love in real life.

The lyrics show things that you have not experienced before in real life. What does it take to write such lyrics?

Suga: There's indirect experience to these things like watching movies, imagining it, or asking friends.

Jin: I consult friends that are in good relationships. My feelings can be easily substituted.

The song 'Miss Right' has a R&B feel to it.

Suga: It's a song that's directly describing our ideal types.

Jin: It's different from our usual strong style. It's a sweet song so please listen to it with a relaxed mind.

The singles you released so far show a "strong" side.

Suga: There's also sweet songs in our Korean album. We will let everybody in Japan listen to it in the future.

Jimin: Please look forward to it!

Rap Monster: Our tone is hip hop, but not only hip hop. As long as it's a good music style, I want to try it because it has value as long as it's good (no matter what style it is).

You're going to have a concert in Japan in November.

Rap Monster: This is an even larger-scale live than our previous ones in Korea so it's even more stressful. I keep thinking that I must do even better.

V: I also think we must do better than we did before. Improving on things that were lacking in our Korea performances, we can show an even more perfect performance.

Jungkook: I heard a lot of fans will come so I hope everyone will be excited and happy.

Are you nervous before concerts?

Rap Monster: Yes!

J-Hope: It's the most nervewrecking standing on the stage waiting for the curtains to open.

Jimin: I get more relaxed once I step foot on the stage.

Jin: I jog around a bit before going on stage. If I don't make my heart beat faster, my heart will be jumping out once I step on the stage.

We look forward to your new album!

Jimin: Thank you. We are also looking forward to it!
