SUMMARY:
THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS: every two hundred years, a pair of Valor twins are born. One twin is born with the ability to See. The other is not. In the winter of 1979, a pair of Valor twins are born; one boy, one girl. A mother cries as her twins are placed in her arms, for she knows what path one of her children is destined to walk. The oldest, a girl, is given the gift of Sight and the clock to another two hundred years resets.
Magdalena Valor has been plagued with visions of the future for as long as she can remember. It is a gift and a curse, the Sight, as she's been told all her life. It is special to be different, she is told, but this ability is dangerous. It is unnatural. Nobody should have to bear the burden knowing what will happen.
Magdalena keeps her ability a secret. Bad things will happen if people know, her parents warn her. So she attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a normal girl ⏤ as normal as a witch can be. She tries to mend the abyss that has existed between her and her twin brother the day she was able to See. She avoids the subject of Divination, scared that if her predictions were too accurate, somebody would realise who she is. She pretends that she doesn't experience visions of the future and that she doesn't remember each and every one of them. She hides that most of her visions are about Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, until Cedric Diggory is dead and Harry Potter reveals what she has feared: Lord Voldemort is back.
Magdalena Valor is plagued with the curse of Sight and she is thrust into a war she has no interest in being involved in. But she is the ace in the Order's sleeve to stopping Voldemort ⏤so, she, along with Harry Potter, have no choice but to front a war that is brewing on their doorstep. Or cause the doom of the wizarding world.

she's here!! welcome to the great war, my harry potter fic! i'm so excited to start writing magdalena's story, it has been in my drafts since february and i'm so happy it's finally out, in honour of harry potter's birthday. this fic will start in ootp and finish in deathly hallows and will be following the books, so if there is anything not in line with the movies it is because I am following book canon.
