Lauren's P.O.V

"Mom! Hurry up, we have to go soon!" I yelled to my mom is concern. "Sweety! The amusement park is open all day! I'll drop you off in a bit! I have to finish Grey's anatomy." I rolled my eyes at moms reply and plopped down on the couch beside her, patiently waiting to go

~Ten minutes later~

I lie on the couch in bordem when I heard my mom yell my name. "Skilar! We can go now. Wake up." I darted up. Ok, so apparently I fell asleep. Maybe it was longer then 10 minutes.

I tightened my ponytail with my left hand while grabbing my phone with my other. I shoved my phone into my back pocket and followed my mom downstairs. When we reached downstairs I grabbed my black converse and quickly slipped them onto my feet. I grasped the door handle and twisted it opening the door. Walking out of my house my mom followed behind locking the door. I bounced in excitement over to my moms grey mini van hopping into shotgun.

My mom just casually followed me to the vehicle and got in the drivers seat starting the car. I smiled widely and looked out the window. I dropped my smile when I saw a huge storm cloud ahead and a bit of rain dropping on the windshield, however, that quickly passed. Once we got to the amusement park it all passed and the weather was very nice. Sun was shining and the ground was dry.

When we arrived there was a HUGE lineup of people. Like a lot of people. I stared out the window in amazement until I was interrupted. "Skilar, We're here. I'll pick you up whenever you text me." I turned back towards my mom. "Mom. Can you please bring me in to pay for me?" My mom nodded and a smiled curved the edges of her lips upwards. We both turned to open our doors and step out of the car.

We waited in the line for about 30 minutes before it was our turn to pay. My mom handed the money to the person at the front till and then we said our goodbyes and went different ways.

I stepped into the park and smiled looking around. I stood there looking around at all the kids laughing and playing on the rides. I felt like I was in some sort of fantasy movie.

I walked forward and decided to lineup for the Ferris wheel before the kind gets too big. It was kinda awkward being alone without friends but all my friends had other planes so I just came by myself. Alone time is kinda nice anyways.

~5 Minutes later~

I turned back to see how long the line was. My eyes met with a beautiful girl, also alone. I just smiled at her and turned around in embarrassment. A couple seconds later I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see that same girl looking me in the eye.

"I was wondering if you possibly wanted to go on the Ferris wheel together if you don't have anybody." She looked down at her feet and I felt an immediate connection with her. I didn't know what it was though. A slight smile spread across my face and I nodded. "Of course. I was kinda worried incase they only let two on and not one. Anyways, I'm Lauren." I smiled, she stepped forward beside me with a wide smile and I just moved over so there was enough space.

Her eyes and beautiful blonde curled hair was just perfect. Why was I feeling this way? I'm 15 anyways. "Im Skilar." We then smiled to each other and walked forwards. it was our turn to go.

We sat beside each other on the seat and threw our hands up so the gate could close. We were the last people to go on so the ride started going and it went pretty fast.

We started laughing and threw our hands up in the air. Before we knew it the ride was over and we awed in disappointed. Then we laughed in unison and stepped offthe ride. "Can I have you're phone for a second?" Skilar questioned me and pointed to my pockets. I pulled out my phone and typed in my password. "Call me sometime, 403-966-1730" she then smiled as I typed her number into my phone. I nodded and said. "Okay" I looked up and smiled back as I put my phone back into my pocket. "Wanna go look around a bit?" I questioned her while looking down at my feet. "Sure, by the way, I'm Skilar. I'm 15." She greeted me and sticking her hand out. "I'm Lauren, I'm always 15" I smiled and grabbed hold of her hand shaking it. While our hands touched, sparks flew around. Something special was between Skilar and I

We let go of each other's hands and smile a shy and embarrassed smile. I motioned for her to follow me. I led her over to the snack bar and pulled out my wallet. "What would you like? It's on me" I asked her pulling out a 20 dollar bill. "I can pay, it's fine I have money." I just shook my head. "My treat for you. Please let me pay." I said we big pouty eyes. "Fine. I'll just get a small cotton candy please." She shrugged.

"Kay" I walked up to the Till and looked around at what there was. "I'll get 2 small cotton candy please" I put the 20 dollar bill on the counter and pointed out to the cotton candy. "One blue, one pink please" I was picky with my cotton candy, Plus, I wanted Skilar to pick what colour she wanted. I waiting about a minute before the handed me the cotton candy and my change. "Thank you' I smiled and counted the money they handed back.

I turned to Skilar and saw her beautiful green eyes staring at me with a big smile on her face. We spent the rest of the day together until it was closing time.

Laur- Mom, its closing time, can you please come pick me up?

Mom- Sure honey, be there shortly.
