It's the last day of summer and I, kaelynn Harris, knew exactly what I was going to do. I reserved a time slot at Mi-Mi's dance studio and I was going to use that wisely. I got ready at 12:00pm after I did my 5 mile run. My time slot said to be there by one but I wanted to get there early so I could stretch. I started walking there and on the main street I saw a black limo drive by. I saw an outline of a boy with dark shades but I couldn't really make out who it was. When I got to the studio I put my bag down by the mirror and started stretching. Before I left the dance studio I wanted to have a mix of four songs done. I wasn't gonna do the mixing though because I'm not that technical. The four songs I picked was:
Mindless Behavior - Keep her on the low
Trey Songz - Two reasons
Madonna - Girls gone wild
Ciara - Got me good
I finished around 4:00pm and on my way to work I passed by my house to drop off my clothes. I work at Milton Animal Shelter (MAS). At the entrance I met up with my three best friends Selena, Zendeya, and Teala.
Kaelynn- Hey lena, deya, and lala
Lena, Deya, Lala- Hey KayKay
KayKay- what animal are we working with today?
Deya- I checked the board and it said dogs
KayKay- YES !! I call Llewes
Lena- I call Boomer
Deya- I call Dickens
LaLa- I call Buddy
They go get the dogs, leash them, and head to the D trail. On the way, LaLa gets this excited look on her face.
LaLa- Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Guess who's in town!?!?
Deya, Lena- Who? who?
KayKay- Wait....Is it a celebirty?
LaLa- yupp
KayKay- Let's not do this again guys
LaLa- Do what?
KayKay- Remember what happened the last time a celebrity came to town?...yeah so if you guys are gonna talk about it I'm walking ahead.
I walk ahead with Llewes while my friends talk by the trees. I started playing fetch with Llewes when my friends come over ALL with an excited look on their faces. We played fetch with the dogs for two hours then walked back to the shelter. Once at the shelter, we cleaned the dogs cages, fed them, and gave them water. I did some office work and got my paycheck. I finished work about 8:00pm and got a ride from Deya. When I got home, I got my outfit ready for the first day of school and made sure I had my books and homework. I went to bed around 10:00pm but I didn't fall asleep untill around 12:00am because of the dread I felt.
It's hard being a nerd living the life of a secret dancer.
