7. The reproduction conversation

Tenko was sure almost 2 weeks had passed at this point. And it were great 2 weeks. He got to cuddle his mate and kiss him as much as he wanted.

But then again he was starting to feel uncomfortable in his own nest. Even if it was supposed to be warm and protected...it now made him so hot. He felt like he was cooled from the insides while the walls just made him panic.

And also his whole body started to itch more with every passing day, it wasn't a normal itch..it was little a light one under his skin, like a worm slithering through his tail.

He could only find comfort with Touya. Now eating a bit more than usual, it must be because he us always exhausted. He also now travels out of the reef and down to take more cool sand baths. But they only helped for a bit.

He sighed as he rolled around in the cool sand and arched his back. He laid down again as he tried to understand what was going on.

Touya was out and hunting for his mate as he returned with a dead Shark. Smiling as he placed it down and gave his lover a small peck on the lips. "I got your lunch." He replied.

Swimming around the shark as he ripped off of a piece of it's meat and offered it to Tenko with a proud smile on his face. He was pretty much.. Well, lost. Lost in random thoughts and totally forgot that mating season was coming up. Hormones were changing and the sea animals were getting touchier and more hostile plus aggressive over the hormone change. Which gave him a hard time hunting but he managed.

The mer looked at him and smiled as he slowly came out of his little hole of sand he had made himself..he shook to get rid of most of the sand before he swam over to him. "Thanks." He smiled and kissed his cheek before he took the piece. As soon as he smelled the goodness he realized how hungry he was and devoured it within seconds.

The Siren was already full after killing some electric eels that were trying to eat the shark that he was gonna hunt. So he curled up in Tenko's nest with permission of course before anything. Smiling softly as he took in his scent. But.. It wasn't the usual sweet sea foam. It was a little different.. Did he bring another Siren or perhaps mermaid in here?

Tenko continued to eat until he took the rest of the shark and swam back up to the cave and nest. There he set the meat rests down.

He smiled when he was in the cave again. It was loaded with all kinds of stuff. And it was super comfortable at this point with the...uh...blanket! Yes..that's what Touya called them. He had stolen them and brought them to him.

He smiled as he squeezed himself into the nest as well. He moved against Touya and curled up against him, their tails intertwining almost immediately. Now Touya could tell that it was actually Tenko's scent which had changed. It was now way heavier on the salty water taste and seaweed. It also had a cool undertone, but that might be because he spent most of his time in cool places now.

Touya intertwined his tail with the Merman as he leaned against the other. Smiling as he took in his scent. Oh. The different scent was on him too.

But he didn't comment. He only relaxed and sniffed him more and tried to taste the new scent as he gently licked at his shoulder and cheek. He did taste different. And also smelt differently. But he didn't say anything. Just smiled as they squeezed themselves in the little nest.

The other smiled when he felt Touya lick his skin. His sharp teeth like fangs on his tongue even made him giggle. He was so gentle with him. He just smiled and turned his head to him to give him a kiss.

All while he tried not to focus on the itch, overwhelming heat and tingles all over his body. Even the way Touya's fins brushed against him made an explosion run down his skin.
