Finally it's over I need to get out of this classroom it's like 2 billion degrees in here. I love history I really do but dang Ms Elizabeth just drags on in her lectures and her stupid food themed hair clips always make me really hungry. I should ask Axel if he is free for food, he probably is as long as he isn't showing off his guitar to another random blond chick man he has a type. For some reason seeing Ax play his guitar for random chicks watching him put his arm around them while he "teaches them" to play guitar kinda pisses me off probably just my instincts to protect my bro.

I walk out of the classroom and wander around the school halls looking for Axel. there are kids chatting, red lockers and white tile floors bright ceiling lights same as it's looked since I walked in the torcher chamber 3 years ago. Where could that emo kid be hiding?
Oh there he is!

"Hey Axel my man wassup"

"Hey Fynn"

"Man Im so hungry you wanna go out for pizza or something?"

"Yeah totally but maybe not pizza? I have a favor I wanna ask about actually"

"Oh yeah sure what's the favor?"

"Your gonna have to wait till we're eating dude haha"

"I hate when you do this it's always something ridiculous you're going to ask me. Like that one time you asked if I would sleep in your bed for you so your mom wouldn't notice you snuck out or that time you asked me to steal your brothers car with you or-"

"First off you said it weird I just needed a body there in case my mom peeked in perfectly reasonable favor. Second we didn't steal his car we borrowed it we put it back after he never noticed."

I gave him a skeptical look

"Chil chill it ant that crazy this time, so the noodle place by the pier?"

"Everything out of your mouth is insane I think you are just inherently a little crazy. But yes noodles would be great."

Walking by the ocean is one of my favorite things. I love watching the waves I love the pier and the street lights that are on it. I love seeing the kids build their shitty Sandcastles. I've always loved the water I can't imagine living anywhere else. Me and Axel have been friends since we were 7. He hates getting wet but he gets in everytime just to spend time with me because if you can't find me I'm probably surfing a wave or swimming in the water. We have always eaten ice cream every other Saturday at this small shop across the street from the noodle place we are going now it has an outdoor eating area that looks out at the ocean. It's covered in fairy lights and flowers Ax says it's girly but he loves that place more than I do.

"Hey bro so you know Scarlett right?" Axel said looking kinda silly

what's with that smile?

"Yeah the badass you meet in 8th grade I haven't talked to her myself but she seems cool... why?"

"Well.." he took a long breath "I think I like her and I need your help."

He said he liked her why did that sting? She's not even his type! What's going on?

"How do you need my help?"

"I'll tell you in just a second were almost there you'll know as soon as the food comes." He gave the smile he only gives when he's come up with a plan... Usually a bad one.
