Lucy Stevens was cuddled up in Lydia's bed. Lydia's boy toy just left and Lucy would be lying if she said she wasn't glad. She may or may night have felt a pang of jealousy when she heard moans escape Lydia's mouth as she waited in the bathroom.
As Lydia tried on the big leather jacket, her little 'friend' forgot, Lucy stared at her. She was gorgeous. Her emerald eyes, her strawberry blonde hair, her fair skin, her soft silk lips.
"What the hell?!" Lydia shrieked, snapping Lucy out of her admiring thoughts.
When Lucy slowly glanced up, she realized Lydia was staring right at her. Just to make sure, she glanced around the room and clarified that they were the only two there.
"You can see me?" Lucy questions, slightly sitting up.
"Of course I can! What the hell are you doing in my room, you creep?!" The strawberry blonde exclaimed.
Lucy furrowed her eyebrows, "You can see me. How can you see me?"
"What does that even mean?" Lydia tossed her hands up.
"I'm dead." The girl on the bed informed the standing one. "I'm a ghost."
Lydia let out a humorless laugh, "And I'm a mermaid."
"I don't have time for funny. I need to know how you can see me. I mean, I know you haven't seen me before after all this time I've been here."
"What? You've been here longer than five minutes?"
Lucy shrugs, bored, "I've been by your side for six years."
Lydia gapes at the blonde before her, some reason, believing her, "Okay. Uh, can you please explain to me what in the holy hell is going on?"
