Alora's POV
I wish I had listened to her once.
She warned me not to come here, but I didn't take her seriously. Now I'm wishing I had because I'm scared out of my mind. I'm Alora and I'm stuck in this creepy abandoned building and I'm freaking out. I usually love going on adventures by myself, but right now I'm regretting not listening to my best friend Fiorella.
I have always been a fan of adventures and horror stuff. It's like a part of who I am. Exploring the unknown, uncovering secrets, and getting that rush of adrenaline—it's my way of feeling alive.
As I'm frantically searching for an exit in this creepy building, I stumble upon a rusted necklace lying on the floor. It's all tangled up and looks like it's seen better days, but there's something about it that catches my attention.
I figure, why not take it? It could be a cool souvenir from this unexpected adventure. Plus, who knows, maybe it has some hidden significance or a story behind it. I slip it into my pocket, feeling the weight of it against my leg.
I can't help but wonder why people say no one has made it out of this building. I mean, there's no way there's some terrifying monster lurking around, right? That's just stuff you see in movies.
But then, as I cautiously make my way through the darkness, my flashlight illuminates a giant figure in front of me. My heart skips a beat as I struggle to make out what it is. As I get closer to it, I realize it's just a mannequin covered in black cloth. I breathe a sigh of relief, but my heart is still racing.
Just as I'm trying to calm my racing heart, my phone buzzes, and I nearly jump out of my skin. It's Fiorella calling. I answer it, my voice a little shaky from the adrenaline coursing through my veins.
O.T.P.
Alora: Hey wassup?
Fiorella: You're stuck, aren't you?
Alora: Me? STUCK? Absolutely no ahaha I'm in my car heading back home.
Fiorella: Mom and Dad are asking about you.
Alora: Are they mad?
Fiorella: They're worried.
Alora: Alright I'm coming back.
Fiorella: Alright! Be safe.
As I continue walking, determined to find the door I came in from, I notice something out of the corner of my eye. At first, I think it's just that same mannequin again, but then it starts moving. My heart skips a beat as I try to get a closer look without alerting whatever it is to my presence.
But as I squint and strain my eyes, my stomach churns with a mix of horror and disbelief. It's not a mannequin—it's a person doing something really creepy. I can't quite make out all the details, but it looks like they're either drinking blood or munching on a snake. Yeah, you heard that right. My mind goes into overdrive, and I can feel a shiver running down my spine.

Before I could do anything, that person gets up and take a step forward.
He takes a step forward again, while I step back. I'm scared out of my mind and before I know it, I scream and faint.
Alaric's POV
If reincarnation is real, I wouldn't want to come back again.
I know life would just give me the runaround all over again and I'd end up a monster. I'm Alaric, a vampire theoretically, not one that drinks human blood at night. At least those are the rules for all of us. But rules are meant to be broken aren't they?
