Three Flooded Days

Part 1: The prologue

"It's already been two months since I started my third year, and I've been doing pretty well. Today is just like any other normal school day-"

"Yooo! Kataki!!!" someone called. Kataki closed his journal.

"Yo, Izumi." Kataki said.

"I've been looking for you for an hour! What are you up to?" Izumi asked trying to take a breath.

"Nothing, just writing some stuff." Kataki answered.

"Hm ok, wanna go to the cafeteria together? Don't worry, everything is on me." Izumi said.

"Yeah sure." Kataki said as he got up, put his journal in his bag, and walked with Izumi.

As they were walking

As they were walking, they ran by a group of girls standing, and talking to each other. Kataki looked back to see Izumi standing behind the wall, peaking at the girls.

"What the hell are you doing?" Kataki asked as he got pulled by Izumi.

"SHUT UP!"

"Ok." Kataki said calmly not knowing what's happening.

"See that girl over there?" Izumi asked as he pointed at her.

"Isn't that the class representative in our class, Kyoko?" Kataki asked.

"YES! Well...that's the girl I like. I've been trying to talk to her for 2 months!" Izumi said hiding his face. "Huh, Kataki? Where did you..."

"C'mon let's go." Kataki said as he walked to the cafeteria.

"DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS SAYING!"

5 minutes later;

They finally sat down after they got their food. They ate peacefully just like any other person would do.

"Kataki, do you like anyone?" Izumi asked.

"Nah." Kataki said as he continued eating.

"Ah damn. What's your type?"

"Hm...I haven't thought about it before,

"Hm...I haven't thought about it before, but if I had to choose, I would say a short girl with long brown hair and hazel eyes, but, I don't really care about any of that, all I want is a girl who is kind and treats people right."

"Kyoko is a perfect match for you if that's the case." Izumi said.

"I don't know her personality yet, I can't love anyone without knowing their true form."

"Ok mister over thinker." Izumi said as he laughed.

Izumi and Kataki went back to class as they passed by Kyoko talking to her friends. They stood there, staring at her for a short while.

"I'm in love with her smile dude." Izumi said.

"What the fu-" They went to class, and sat down.

3 hours later:

The bell finally rang. Everyone got up and left the class except for Izumi, Kataki, and Kyoko.

"Kyoko, are you staying here?" Izumi asked as he blushed.

"Yeah, I have some stuff to do as the class representative." Kyoko answered.

"Oh okay, good luck!" Izumi said as he was about to pass out.

"Bye Kataki, see you after the weekend!"
