OS 1: Heart's last beat (Ending)

Third person's Pov.

It was a rainy Monday when Irene arrived at her new work, she looked very messy, her hair was almost wet, and so was her uniform.

She was fixing herself when a tall, Spanish-looking guy came into her direction and said, "You're blocking my way."

She looked at him and rolled her eyes, she walk away to go to the bathroom.
"Sungit naman non." She said to herself.

Little did she know that the man she just called "Masungit" would be her boss...

When she finally had finished fixing herself, she received a text from her workmate, saying, "Hinihintay kana ni Sir Greggy.."

It took her 20 minutes before she finally reached the office of her boss.

She was welcomed by the frowning face of Greggy.

"What the—? Boss ko yan?" She thought,
"Malas nga naman oh.."

"You're late Ms. Marcos," Greggy said coldly, but Irene did not react and she just did the things that were assigned to her.

Months passed, and The cold heart of Irene suddenly melted, and her connection with Greggy as a secretary and boss suddenly turned into something undefined.

Irene knew that she is already falling,
Greggy feels the same way, but the two never dare to confess it.

Everyone in the company ships them, even Greggy's sisters.

"Irene," Greggy called her

"Yes, Sir?" She asked and looked unto him.

"It's my mom's birthday tomorrow, cancel all my meetings. Thanks." He said and smiled, "sumama ka sakin bukas.." he added.

"P-po?" Irene widened her eyes, she had never gotten to meet the mom of her boss, and she's too to join him.

"Join me tomorrow, your colleagues will be there, don't worry."

All the men in the event were staring at the fine beauty of Irene, her style is simple, yet elegant.

Her beauty makes Greggy irritated because men seemed to be in love with her. He's jealous.

Greggy went near Irene and offered her to drink.

They were enjoying their drink when Greggy's sister suddenly approached them and said, "Kuya, ate Pat's calling you."

Greggy looked at Irene and said, "Wait me here," Irene just smiled and nodded.

When Greggy came back after 15 minutes, Irene had gone missing.

Greggy tried asking their maids if they saw Irene, one of them did see her going onto the rooftop,

He immediately went there and saw the drunk Irene sipping her drink while looking into the sky.

They remained on the rooftop, Greggy looked at Irene and asked, "Have you ever been in love?"

He never wanted to ask, but if he never asked, how shall he know?

"I have never truly known the real feeling of being in love, sir...." she paused, and when she was about to continue her sentence, Greggy suddenly said, "Irene, I'm in love with you, I thought that I've always known what love is, but when you came into my life, you showed me what love is, it's different when it's you, Irene.."

"I want you." He added.

"Sir.." Irene whispered

"It feels like I wanted to marry you, I want to build a family with you, I want you to be the first person I saw every morning, I want you to be my everything.."
