It's Complicated

In the morning

BEEP, BEEP! I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock and punch as hard as I can, I know it won't break but I hope it feels pain. Ugh it's the first day of high school. This has to be the worst part of moving to L.A. And I know everyone thinks L.A. Is the place to be because you have celebrities and amazing opportunities there but no it's just a complete black hole. I don't wanna be here I don't wanna go to high school but I have a nagging mom so I guess I don't have a choice. I reluctantly get out of bed and look in my mirror. "Fuck it," I say looking at my pajamas. I honestly don't care what people think of me and if I'm in a sleepy mood I'm gonna wear pajamas to show it. I go in the bathroom and brush my teeth then I walk downstairs only to see my mom eyeballing me already.
"You're not going to school like that."
"Would you rather me not go at all?"
She stares at me long and hard then she releases the hard face,"I love you have a great day at school." I smile at her, give her a kiss, and walk out the door. And then I walk back in because she's my ride.

SURVIVING HIGH SCHOOL

Well after a long drive of my mom telling me the do's and dont's of high school the car finally stopped and I hopped out quicker than a hare. I rushed up the steps and didn't look back, but I came to a stop as soon as I was close to the door. I took a deep breath and I walked inside of it.

You know high school isn't so bad besides the billions of Eyes that are on me and the gossiping going on behind my back even though I can hear it. I mean I know I'm wearing pajamas but they're just clothes.
"Eew who wears that on the first day of school?" I hear someone say. "Right but seriously who wears that to school any day?" Says another girl.
I just keep walking I don't know where but I have to act like I know where to go, I don't know why but I do.

Hey guys so um remember when I pretended that I knew where to go. yeah that didn't go so well because here at this school you get in trouble if you walk in every class and apparently "disrupt everyone" those are the principals words not mine.
" You're already getting in trouble and it's your first day here," says Mr.P.
"Um all I did was walk into a class."
"Not a class Ms.Raelyn, 22 classes!"
"No one was paying attention anyway."
"Ok smart mouth! I'm gonna let it slide because this is your first time but the next time your in my office you get a detention!" I shook my head yes and was about to walk out the door--"SIT DOWN!" Dang, this principal has anger issues I thought to myself then I sat down in my chair as he picked up the phone and called for someone named Sam.
