The Trip to Texas

Eddie's POV

I watched as Kacey was awake and packing her suitcase for vacation down to Texas. Kacey thought it was best to drive with Christopher's CP and Jack's diabetes. I just wanted time with her. She did also agree that we're gonna go down to El Paso to see my folks. Jack came into the bedroom with his suitcase packed. I picked it up and unzipped it, looking inside to see all his clothes and supplies ready to go. I smiled at him and zipped it back up, giving him his suitcase back. Kacey finished up packing her suitcase as I grabbed them both and put them in the bed of my truck with the cover over them. Kacey got in on the passenger side, and Jack got in the backseat. I smiled and watched the road. As the day went on, the longer I drove until night fell. Kacey and I switched places as she drove the rest of the way to Texas as we arrived at our hotel.
