I wake up to the sun in my eyes, i go to get up but something is holding me down. I look down to see an arm i look beside me to see conrad fisher. WHY AM IN BED WITH HIM?? I look around and realise I'm in his room, in his bed. I go to take his arm off of me "goodmorning jade, did you sleep okay?" I look at him "what? Why do you look shocked and confused?" I blink a bit more still in shock "conrad, why the fuck. Am I in your bed?" He slightly laughed "oh yeah right well you fell asleep on the beach so I carried you back here and when you were in ur bed I was about to leave but you asked me if you could stay with me because you didn't want to be alone and i didnt feel comfortable sleeping in your room" I look away "okay yeah that um that makes sense" I get up "well um ima go uh get ready for uh you know um anyways bye" I speed out of his room into mine and I let put a breath I didn't know I was holding "JADE HURRY UP YOU CANT BE LATE TO THE FIRST DANCE CLASS" I hear my mum yell fuck i don't have a partner "IM ALOMOST READY BE DOWN IN 5" I yell back I rush over and grab a cute dark red dress that landed just above my knee o rush down stairs "hey bells, did you ask Cam Cameron to go to the ball with you?" I sit down next to her at the island table "no uh 7 margaritas ruined that so" I look at her "well I forgot to find someone to ask so maybe we could just dance together?" I start rubbing my neck "yeah sure jadie" Mum walks in "right let's go" in the car ride over I start getting really anxious "hey jade it's gonna be okay" I look into the review mirror "thanks bells" we get out of the car "okay guys have fun okay?, and if you want to come home either of you just text me our code, do you remember it?" I look at belly and sight "lemon, jelly belly" we say at the same time, here's some back story to it I guess, I used to love lemons the only way I'd get belly to eat it with me was lemon flavoured jelly when I told my mum this, the code became a thing so yeah "Mum we will I promise now we need to go" I grab belly and start speed walking "jade slow down we have time" I look at her "actually bells we have five minutes to get there and neither of us know where to go so keep fucking walking." I yell this time he looks at us and runs over "oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't recognise you two, wow bells you look amazing" he spins her around "and jade that dress really suits you, you look amazing" I bow my head at him "thanks jer" I look at bells "hey uh jeremiah do you think you could show us where we are ment to be going?" He looks over at belly "bells you've been there before do you not remember how to get there?" She shakes her head "no I've completely forgotten" he sighs "okay let's go dance" he puts his arms out for us to take so we do "here we are" "thanks jeremiah, I've never been happier about u working here in my life" he laughs "well your welcome?" I shake my head and look at belly "you ready jadie?" I nod, we walk in and choose a part of the floor and just start talking until some woman introduces this old lady I wasn't listening so I haven't a clue what there names are I can't here anything other than my heart fuck I'm about to have a panic attack "bells I'll be right back ask nikol to dance with you" "wait you know nikol" I look into her eyes "she was there on the 4th? Now I need to go I'm so sorry" I storm away and rush into a cubicle, I grab my phone

Jade: lemon jelly belly

Mom: hunny are you okay? you've only been there for 10 minutes

Jade: mum please I'm about to have a panic attack hurry.

Mom: conrads on his way.

Jade: What?? Why conrad???.

Mom: because I'm busy.

I drop my phone my vision is blurry i can't breath I hear someone saying somthing I can't tell what, then someone knocked on the cubicle door "hello? Are you okay in there love?" I reach up and open the door to see shayla, my brothers girlfriend "oh jade fuck are you okay?" My breathing start getting faster. "Pa- panic atta- attack" I say "okay can you look at me?" I look at her "try follow my breath okay? In, and out" after about ten minutes i start following her breath "okay, are you okay now?" I nod "yeah thank you shayla" "what caused this?" I can tell she doesn't know she seems very concerned "I have social anxiety most of the time I just feel really anxious, but there's a good few times I end up having panic attacks because of it" I look down and grab my phone "oh now it makes sense" I look at her "what do you mean?" "Oh nothing bad just steven was telling me about you and just said when you are near to many people you shut down, I didn't quite know what he ment but he wouldn't tell me" I shake my head "yeah he doesn't like talking about it, whenever he does he ends up worrying about me so I've just told him not to" she nods

Conrad: I'm here, where are you?

Jade: hold on I'm coming I was in the bathroom with shayla the queen 🤌🏻

Conrad: why were you in the bathroom together?

Jade: panic attack 🫶🏻

I look at shayla "I've got to go eh I'll see you someday with steven" she nods "wait you aren't coming back?" I shake my head "no I can't do this, not that I want to anyways" she nods "okay well good luck" I walk back out and go to the woman "hey um I'm not feeling well so I'm going home" she just waves me off I scoff "fucking bitch" I say walking away I heard her yell out excuse me but I just kept walking and ignore her, if you wanna play the bitch game I'm way better at it. I go to conrads car and get in the front "did you mean what you said last night?" Conrad looks at me, I see a glips of hope in his eyes "what did I say?" What tf did i say to him?? "you said you love me, and I just want to know if you ment it, I know you were drunk but drunk words are sober thoughts right?" I start playing with my bracelet the Susannah gave me for my 16th birthday "oh uh no I didn't mean it, I'm sorry I said that but I was drunk so you know" I shrug I ment it but he can never know. "Oh" he starts the car, the drive was filled with an awkward silence, I get out of the car "wait jade" I look back at conrad "yeah?" I look down "oh uh yeah, I mean obviously you didn't mean it, you were just scared I was going to die" I start to walk to my room "jade hunny" I sigh "yes mom?" "Come here" "coming" I walk into the kitchen and sit at the island "so a little birdy told me you told conrad you love him last night, is that true? Did you finally tell him?" I look around quickly "mom god keep it down, he might hear you" "who might hear laural?" I look at the door to see susannah, I let out the breath I held in "conrad, they finally told him that they love him beck!" "OH MY GOD, wait did you really" I roll my eyes "can you two quite down, conrad will hear you!, yes I did but he asked if I ment it and I said no, a few weeks ago he said I love you when I was about to fall asleep but he said he didn't mean it anyways" my mum scoffs "as if, we all know you both love eachother-" "we don't. Well my feelings for you don't exist and never will I just wanted to break your heart anyways. And I've all ready successfully done that." Aubrey was fucking stupid to even try" I go back inside and go straight to my room, I slam the door shut and get changed into a pair of denim shorts and a corset like top, I grab a bottle of vodka and run down to the beach in tears
