Kill me
Deep within the caverns lied a forgotten word, with creatures lost in history. Those who live and remember are seen as insane and delusional. The creatures were nothing more than a fairy tale to humans, stories to tell to children or around a campfire. Many stories were told with such creatures. Scary stories, stories of war, even some of those who remember have made claims that they were alike gods. But they are had one think in common.
The creatures were sealed in the ground with a magic spell in mount ebott, and some say that you can still find the entrance.
Many people denied such a thing, saying that it was nothing but fiction. But the children believed otherwise. Soon those stories led some children to climb the mountain, wanting to find the truth. Those children were never seen again. Disappearances began to grow as more and more children were pulled to see the hole that withheld the creatures. It got to a pint where police had to be hire to secure the mountain in search for the children, and to stop anyone trying to climb it.
But they would never find the children.

Years went by and the underground stayed as violent as before, snow and dust fused together and created a soft grey ground. The lights had gone out, letting the darkness consume the town of snowdin. All light except one. Light poured out of a small bar, illuminating the surrounding buildings. The sign on the building was severely broken, having to deal with nearby fights that ended up getting deadly, but the words were still eligible. 'Grillby's', the only bar in the whole town.
The inside of the bar looks like what many would expect. Tables, booths, a counter for serving, and a wall for storing alcohol. The building was almost desolated if not for the owner being there. Grillby, a monster made of pure fire, glowing green and purple. He wasn't a good person by any means. However, he was the only guy around to give the other residents a place to drink and eat. He was feared, definitely, but respected by many.
The only sound that could be heard was the fire of the man crackling as he cleaned one of the tables for tomorrow. The day was coming to a end and he could finally relax.
Hah! If only.
Grillby's attention was pulled away from cleaning to the sound of the front entrance opening. He was about to tell them that the bar was closed, but he quickly paused once he saw who it was. It was a friend of his, a odd crazy one sure, but friend nevertheless. They looked like a mix of a dragon and a shark, with two pairs of arms and three eyes.
With dark blue-ish purple skin that looked smooth like scales, while their tusks and horns were sharp like a knife. Their tail and wings stayed still, dormant for time. Wearing a fluffy black jacket, a tube top, shorts and boots. Grillby couldn't help to stare, taking a quick breathe in at the sight.CJ was one of his favorite customers and a good friend...but he wish they could be more.
CJ took a step into the building, closing the door behind them. With a smile on their face, they looked up at grillby and chuckled," sorry for the late drop in, the snow is being a bitch and I need to keep out the cold for a bit." Their voice was like a symphony, multiple people speaking at once. Some were quiet, some were loud. Others were rough, others were soft. But even with such oddities, grillby couldn't help to love their voice. It felt calming to him, like it could bring him to sleep. It was so unique to him, so lovely. He loved when CJ came into the bar, even if the other customers seemed displeased with their arrival. May have had to throw someone out cause they were making fun of them behind their back. Gotta be a good friend after all.
Grillby slightly nodded at CJ's words, not exactly listening. He tried to go back to cleaning but the air seemed so tensed for him now. It wasn't a bad feeling, more like a comforting hug or a blanket wrapped around him tightly. The two stayed in silence, just listening to the wind hit the windows creating a slight rattling song. It was peaceful, content, wonderful. But grillby felt a soft sting in his chest and a thought going through his mind. To tell them, to tell them how much he love and care for them. He knew that CJ didn't really understand romantic attraction, mostly just comparing or confusing it with friendship. Even then, he wanted to get the truth off his chest and see how it goes.....hopefully not in ruining their friendship.
Grillby took a deep breathe in, glancing at CJ behind him. They were simply leaning against a table, staring off into space. They still look beautiful to him, even when they weren't trying. He looked back at the table, starting to feel nervousness setting in. "...CJ?" His voice was barley a whisper, almost focused out of his mouth. CJ looked up at grillby, looking surprised at his tone, while also being a bit worried. "Yea? Do you need me to leave or something?" Grillby shook his head, turning to face CJ. He paused for a bit, feeling regret linger in his mind. Taking a deep breathe, grillby asked a simple question.
"Will you go out with me?"
Silence. Silence filled the room as if time has stopped. CJ looked up at grillby with a shocked face, clearly taken aback by the question. At that point, grillby was internally panicking; regretting even asking and hoping that CJ wouldn't just leave him. After a few second, CJ stepped forth toward grillby in silence. His worry began to grow as he feared that they would hit him, but instead CJ kissed him. They had to reach up to reach his lips, wrapping their arms around him while pressing their lips against grillby's. Once the shock depleted, he quickly melting into the kiss; wrapping his arms around their waist.
Moments past as the two kissed in the others arms, perfectly content with the feeling they both felt. Calmness, happiness, joy. So many feeling going through grillby as CJ slowly pulled away. They rested their head onto his chest, smiling widely. "Yes, I will go out with you."
Grillby couldn't be any more happier.
