Chapter One: For the fans
Perrie Louise Edwards, nineteen years old from South Shields. She had always known she was born to be a singer, ever since she and the rest of Little Mix won X-factor. It was almost unreal, The idea that fame could be nice.Wrong. All she knew was, If he didn't want it, neither did she. Zayn Malik, the boy Ron and Tulisa were setting her up with to help gain fans. How wrong. And for another fact, She had doubted he wanted to be with her, for reasons she didn't know. But what happened to them? A friendship died.
“*You two need to work this out, I'm getting tired of asking the same question three times in a row.*” One Direction's sleezy manager spat out at the two, causing the blonde to jump. The man's entire figure creeped over the desk as a gawked at the young artists, holding a painful expression on his face as he pinched the crease of his nose. He looked like he just wanted to leave, on the other hand Tulisa was just trying to find a reason around this; Clearly Zayn and Perrie didn't want to go through with this.
“You're fucking insane. Setting up two people to gain fans? Have you considered what we feel about this?” Zayn spat out as he rose out of the chair he once leaned back on.
“We're trying to work here, and you two are being stubborn. Deal with it. What kind of person says no to being set up in a relationship?” Ron said flatly as he glared into the raven haired boy. It's like they were beckoning each other to throw a punch.
“Enough!” a voice from the corner boomed through the room, causing all eyes to move toward her. The room grew silent for a moment before a smirk plastered on the mans face behind the desk. He seemed to have been waiting for an explanation.
Tulisa of course, had her eyebrows furrowed together as if she was thinking of an explanation then and there.
A light transition of tapping could be heard from the desk, where Ron had been tapping his fingers of impatience. This was going to take a while.
“Zayn, Perrie..” Tulisa finally said asking for their attention. Clearly it was something they weren't going to like.
Both heads were turned in her direction, Zayn letting out an over exaggerated sigh and Perrie trying to not let any of this hurt her feelings; in the back of her mind she felt something was wrong with her.
“We just want to try this. I assume you two were friends before, so this won't be the least bit hard. Stop being so childish, you two act like the other has cooties.” Tulisa explained eyeing Zayn because he was trying to say something.
“Now come up here and sign these papers. We've already wasted enough time as it is.” the tall woman spoke again, seeming tired as it was almost midnight.
Perrie bit lightly at her lower lip before giving in; The look on her face was almost pained, like she'd rather not be there. Getting up slowly, the blonde walked over to the desk as she was being watched by Zayn. It only took a minute or so before she softly put the pen down, ignoring all eyes that seemed to be on her as she walked out the door.
Zayn was shocked by her decision, only giving him one choice. He made his way over to the desk, signed the few lines carelessly as he mumbled something on his way out. The two managers sighed with relief, they shuffled the papers putting it into a safe file.
The blonde had never felt so used in her life; She felt as though she was a puppet, they could tell her to do whatever they wanted and somehow she managed to do so. She continued to walk towards her apartment building when a car pulled up next to her slowing down as she stopped. Her attention was brought to the black suede car, just waiting to see what would happen next.
