Aaron's POV

My wife ran over to me while I stood in the waiting room, looks of confusion invading her face.

"Aaron what happened?" she asked me. Oh we are speaking in English, so no one else knows what we're on about. It's something I picked up while being a police officer here.

"We found them." That was all I had to say before my wife, Hana glomped me.

"How bad was it, Aaron?" Recalling the state I saw my goddaughters in, I broke down. (Hey I may be a man but I have a heart)

"Really bad, H... Keeley was- she had- we found her knocked out. And then I tried to speak to Jaemi and she- she collapsed. God only knows what hell they have been put through. Let's hope God finally ends that hell for them." Hana rubbed my back softly which calmed me down slightly.

"What about the bastard?" she asked, clenching her fists.

"The rest of my team say he has been put in a holding cell until both sisters have reached an agreement," I reply. Just then, Dr Jung, the doctor we trust most in this hospital came up to me and Hana.

"Aaron-ssi, I have some news on Keeley and Jaemi. It seems as though everything that could have possibly happened to them has happened. Fortunately no signs of pregnancy or STDs are apparent, but the scarring; both physically and mentally that has I am detecting is immense. There are multiple numbers of stitches on both girls, in places I am sure you can work out for yourself. They have been malnourished and many injuries that they have developed aren't healing properly. Some of their bones haven't healed correctly at all. Luckily they have not been put in a coma. They are however going to be disorientated. All I want for you to do for them are to feed both of them, make sure they rest and give them their medicine. I have prescribed a lot so it will be difficult. I advise you make a timetable. Also, if it is possible, you need to home school them while they recover, to help build up their confidence levels." Once Dr Jung finished speaking, he walked us to the room they both were sleeping in. When we stepped in, Hana gasped as she looked at them both.

"Aaron..." she said as a tear slid down her eye, "They- they look so broken."

"I know baby. But we have to pull them through this. I made a promise to their dad on their funeral that we will. Please Hana. We will get them through this." It seems as though I'm trying to convince myself more than Hana. But I know from my best friend's old emails to me that they are strong willed. They can and they will get through everything that dick Choi put them through.

(2 Hours Later)

We had sat in the chairs beside both of their beds. Hana had fallen asleep around twenty minutes ago and I was sitting on my phone playing games. I received a message from one of the officers in my team saying that Choi had already been charged; apparently she was also a close friend to the Chos and decided to help us. I had replied back thanking her. Just as I decided to put my phone away, Keeley was slowly starting to wake up.

Keeley's POV

Ugh my head... Choi's goons took it too far... Again. But I'm used to it now. I have to be- wait. Where am I? I try to lift my arms up but stop when I feel needles inside of them.

'They haven't drugged me or Jae before... Where am I?'

I looked around and saw my sister nearby with a woman sleeping at her bedside. For some reason, her face looks familiar... Then, turning my head slowly, I see someone that I remember from photos my father used to show me.

Uncle Aaron- our Godfather.

"Kee- Keeley... How- how are you?" he mumbled. I shook my head; even if he's our Godfather, I'm still afraid to speak.

"Oh right, our insiders told me you stopped speaking to anyone that wasn't Jaemi." I looked at him confused.

"I'm the officer in charge of finding you both. I hate that it took so long but that bastard hid you both well." Fou- found us?

"You may find it hard to believe, but my team and I have not stopped looking for you during these past five or six years. Now we have found you, you will be living with me and my wife, Hana." That's got to be the woman by Jaemi.

"Keeley, we have already pressed charges against Choi. One of my colleagues has already decided to before we could ask you." Choi's gone? How do I know this isn't some prank?

"Keeley, your father has known me for years. Why would I lie to my Goddaughters?" it's like he read my mind.

"Listen Keels, he's gone. And I will help you and Jae to recover. Hana will help too. Our doctor has already explained everything to us. You guys will be home-schooled shortly after you both recover, er... To put it normally, physically," he blushed; Uncle Aaron forever the shy guy he was before he got married. I smiled softly; for the first time since we were taken away.

"Also, I was contemplating whether or not you two should go to a psychiatrist. Keeley if you don't want to then you can tell me otherwise." This meant he really wants to help us... My eyes water and I let a few tears slide out. This means I can actually trust him. We both can trust him... Let's just hope this blanket of security isn't ripped from us just as we grasp onto it...
