Chapter 7~ Trouble Makers

Maya's pov-
I told my dad about Lucas last night, I couldn't sleep until I told him. Now I have to get to school or I'm going to be late.
"Class have a seat. Today we are doing a group project. I will be choosing your partners."
"Ughhh"
Everyone says in Unison
"Riley and Farkle
Maya and Lucas
Zay and yogie
Cara and Samantha
Rowabella and Sera Ann
Savannah and Chris
Aaron and Kaleigh
Abby and addy
Those are your partners"
"What dad why would you put me with Lucas?"
I scream yell.
"Because for this project you are supposed to work together and you guys are in a fight so I'm putting you together."
"Ughh fine. What is the project anyway?"
"Well you have to choose a project but you have to work together."
"No way I'm not working with him."
And I run out. A few minutes later I see someone out in the halls. It's Lucas and the principal.
"Maya you need to be seen in the office, you to Me.frier."
"Oh no were in huge trouble aren't we?"
"Ya probably. And you know your dad is going to be mad."
"Ya don't remind me of that lets just get to the office"
Once we get to the office we go to see the principal.
"You to need to work to together so I'm going to do something so you guys know how to work together."
"What is it?"
Lucas and I say in unison.
"I am going to handcuff you together"
"what!?!?"
We say in unison again.
"That's right you guys are being handcuffed together."
"Fine."
"Go back to class now."
"ok"
Once we get out in the halls we talk a little.
"Lucas I don't really want to go back to class would you be mad if we stayed in the halls?"
"No I don't want to either."
"Ok good. Let's go sit down somewhere."
"What if we just skipped school and when to my house instead?"
"Ok as long as I don't have to be in class."
I follow Lucas to his house I've only been here a few times but it's nice, it's quite and big.
"do you want to work on our project?"
"Ok fine"
-later that night-
"Hey what are we going to do for sleeping tonight?"
"Wanna sleep over?"
"Sure I guess I don't really get a choice."
"True"
I lay down because I'm so tired that I could fall asleep any second now. I feel something reach around my body. If feeling like someone, like Farkle, cuddling up to me. Wait that's Lucas and I may have liked it more than when Farkle does. I understand now why Riley was so sad to lose him, to lose this.
-Mean while-
Riley's pov-
Yay I get Farkle as my partner. Right now he's the only one I want to talk to right now.
"Hey Riley want to come over to my house to work on our project?"
"Sure my house will be boring anyways. Maya texted me saying she handcuffed to Lucas so she's staying there tonight. My mom and dad are visiting my uncle josh and my grandparents and Auggie is staying with a friend."
"Sounds like a boring night at your house."
"Ya it does"
"Let's get to work on our project"
"Ok"
I love working on projects with Farkle, he has gotten over 1000 A's.
-later that night-
"Hey Farkle could I stay here tonight because I'll be the only one at my house?"
"Ya that's fine"
Within seconds I'm almost asleep. Then I feel something around me. It feels like Lucas but he's not here. It's Farkle!! But I like it better than Lucas. Is that a bad thing. I don't know if it is or not but I don't fight it. Actually I turn to snuggle him to. I love this so much. I know why Maya was kinda sad to lose this. It's even better than Lucas. I think I like Farkle more. Well of course I do Lucas broke up with me. Farkle didn't.
