FOUR YEARS LATER. . . Arabella had grown up into a lovely girl. She was slightly more rebellious than the others, but nothingless she was still a well-mannered girl. Her dark locks had grown out, it flowed over her shoulders and reached down to her armpits. Arabella had grown a few inches taller, but someone would still consider her small. Her cheeks became more full and rosey, she was beginning to eat healthier and taking better care of herself.

The girl was now in intermediate school almost finished with her last year before she moves into secondary school. She was quite nervous, there was told to be much more gossiping and bullying occurring in secondary school. Arabella was just grateful she survived intermediate school, it was rough enough already.

Arabella's POV:

THE HOUSE WAS COLD as I woken up from my slumber. My body froze and shivered underneath my thin blanket, how unfortunate. When winter came, it was hard for people to get by the harsh conditions. Especially with crops, thankfully Mother was quick and saved all her herbs before the snow storms could damage them.

I sometimes worry about Deimos out there in the storms, but he keeps assuring me that the cold does not bother him. I don't understand how his body could withstand the coldness, but he truly is unbothered by it, somehow?

RING RING RING

That was the school bell! Oh geez, I must've woken up late again! I quickly hop off my bed and rush out of my bedroom, heading for the bathroom down the hall. Flicking the lights on, I do my normal routine of washing my face, brushing my teeth, and fixing my tangled hair, but this time just a bit faster. Once I'm finished I shut the lights off and dash back down into my room, hurrying my legs to reach my closet where my uniform awaited.

My room was kept minimalistic, my bed placed in the center and a wooden desk leaned upon the grey walls, the floors were wooden planks made from my Father. A small wooden closet was on the right side of my bed, where all my clothes and other things were stored. On the left side there was also a window a few feet away from my bed that viewed the forest surrounding my village. A little light blub dangled down from the roof near my desk, it was my source of light whenever it became dark. The grey walls became boring to look at over the years, so I used my creativity and painted on the four walls.

But anyways, It was a simple black, dark blue, and white colored uniform with pants and a sweater. It was actually comfortable to wear, and the sweater kept me warm on my walks to school. I took my fuzzy grey coat out of my closet and threw it over my shoulder, making sure it securely keeps me warm. My eyes scanned the room for my brown school-bag, spotting it on my desk filled with my books and notes. Hastily grabbing my school bag on my way out and shutting my bedroom door, my legs fastened their steps down the hall to the stairway.
