The light sounds of tapping against glass breaks me out of my trance. I looked up from my workbench and looked at the window beside me.

Tiny rain drops covered the window, gradually covering more of the glass as seconds pass. It was raining much harder as time went on.

I can hear the light voices of my classmates around me, all working on their small projects while talking about whatever came to their minds.

We're all currently working on small circuit boards, not the most fun thing but it's for a grade so not exactly optional. I glance up at the clock on the wall near the door and notice it's minutes away from 4pm. Class would be out soon and I could finally go home to my sweet apartment and escape this college, at least for today.

College wasn't actually too bad, just pretty boring. Everyone on campus was super nice too, and I've actually learned quite a bit about robotics and what not.

The sound of a soft chime breaks me out of my thoughts quickly. "Shit.." I mutter out before gently but quickly putting my circuit board in my book bag along with my tools and notebooks. I could hear my professor loudly talking about our upcoming internships in an attempt to give out information before everyone scurried out the door.

By the time I packed up and cleaned off my desk, everyone had already exited the room leaving only the professor left. I make my way towards the door giving my professor a soft smile.

"Don't forget Ms. (L/N), you should get an email tonight about which companies accepted your application for an internship!" My professor quickly sputtered out while holding one of her fingers up by her face.

"I'll make sure to check throughout the day Mrs. Wilkens, thank you for the reminder. I'll see you Monday!" I gave a small wave and quickly left out the door, leaving the professor only a few seconds to stumble out a goodbye.

I walked through the halls hearing the gentle taps of rain clash against the building. Nearing the exit I propped my hood from my red jacket over my head and quickly ducked out the door, running to my car.

I lazily flung my book bag into the passenger seat and started the car. The warm air brushed my face, giving my body a sense or coziness.

I began to drive home, getting partially lost in thought during the drive there. To be honest I was pretty excited about the internships, especially if I got the one I wanted most.

I had applied for an internship under the Fazbear Entertainment company. I used to go to the old building all the time as a kid. I even went once when I was a bit older, before the place shut down for good. It brought good memories of my childhood, but it was quite sad to see the state of the place.

The floors were sticky and the place had a smell of mildew. Food was kinda gross, and the animatronics were covered in grime and voices glitching non stop. Not to mention poor ol' Foxy being out of order.

So when I heard a new owner had bought the company and completely tore down the building, saving only the animatronics endoskeleton's, and that there were plans of a new and bigger building in the same spot definitely sent waves of excitement over me. Something about a giant pizzaplex or something, but not too sure.

The building itself has already been built and as of now is just being furnished and adding attractions and such. But thats where the fun kicks in. The whole point of the internship is to get some experience with robotics in, and this internship in particular will involve us working on the animatronics themselves.

Something about converting the new endos into something more modern and then putting new and improved casing on them for the characters. They're supposed to end up being super life like too, but let's be real, they're animatronics. How life like could they get?

My thoughts get pushed away as I pull into the apartment parking lot. I shut the car off and sling my bag over my shoulder making sure my hood stays on my head. I run out of the car quickly locking it and run up the outside stairs to get to my apartment, quickly unlocking and running through the door as fast as possible.

I let out a long sigh pushing my back against the door once inside. The warmth of my home greeting me in the entry hallway. I kick off my muddy boots at the door and take off my jacket, hanging it on a hook on the wall. I walk through the halls entering the living area and fling my bag on the couch.

I walk into the kitchen attached to the living room and rumage through the fridge, eventually settling on a canned soda and lunchable. Walking down another hallway I stumble into my bed landing on my stomach as the bed bounces beneath me.

I brush out the stray hairs that landed in my face from the impact and pop open my can of soda, chugging most of it down in one go. I sighed very loudly and flipped onto my back, placing the can down first while mindlessly scrolling through my phone.

"This shits so boring.." I groan out to no one. I don't live with my parents or siblings or anything, I don't even have a pet. So the only noise control I have is for my neighbors around me. I should probably work on that...

I opened my notifications and saw an email regarding the internships. It was only 6:30pm so that was much faster than I expected.

I quickly tap on the notification scanning over the email. They want me to come in for a mini interview tomorrow morning at 9. I don't have school tomorrow due to it being the weekend so I'll be able to get there perfectly fine.

I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. In fact I think I'm gonna treat myself to some good food due to this success, well success so far. The interview will determine whether it really IS a success or not. But oh well, good enough for me right now.

I quickly type in the name of the restaurant on my phone. I think some good Chinese take out will be a plentiful reward for this occasion!
