You've been feeling quite literally alone for the past few months. Like, you had friends and you knew you did but when you weren't talking while they were or when you were by yourself, it would feel like your the only people left on earth.

You constantly feel like your slowly slipping away from every friendship that took to long to make an dit worried you because you really felt a strong connection between the people you really loved.

They had your trust, you heart, your energy and mind. You all thought the same and loved the same but these times weren't exactly the same. You walk into school, and notice your friend group aren't near the lockers they were usually at.

"That's a bit wierd.. maybe their late. Most likely." You whisper to yourself before seeing one of them walk past.
"Hey f/n! Where are the others?" You ask stopping her by her shoulder.
"Oh uhm I don't know, haven't seen any of them at all. It's been an hour since I've been here and none of them were I my sight." They explain.

"Oh alright, thanks." You smile gently. You carry on walking as you notice another one of your friends.
You start to worry, your mind speedily jumping to conclusions,
"Did they fall out? Did something happen? Did one of them do something wrong? Were our classes changed?" You walked to your classroom, still thinking hard.

They all walk in with their heads up, that's not normal. They would normally be laughing and giggling and making jokes. Even during class they were all silent while working instead of drawing and writing in each others books and wheezing at how stupid they were because they forgot 4² over the holidays.

*Time skip*

The next school day, the same thing. They weren't at the lockers. They hadn't texted the groupchat over the weekend last week or this week. That's when you thought you were actually dreaming. It seemed so unfamiliar. You pinched your arm, making sure you weren't asleep.

You weren't. Reality. This time, you noticed two of them walked past and took a quick glance and smiled at each other. After school, you went home and relaxed. Then you thought for a bit when it suddenly hit you. Strangers. "We're strangers.. no. We're best friends." You reassured yourself.

You went on your phone to text them all but when you opened your phone, it was deleted. You scrolled through your whole contact list, hoping you'd just lost it. But no, it was gone and you were right. You laid back down on your back, a single tear forming in your eye.

A new fear was immediately unlocked in your system. Love and lose. That's what it's called. You were all strangers to each other again. And you knew you weren't dreaming.
