"Mom? Can I ask something?" Ahyeon asked her mom as she sat on the sofa. "Yes, honey, of course. What is it?" Jennie spoke.

"I found some pictures in your closet when I was cleaning, and I don't know who's in the picture so I decided to ask you."

"What picture?" Jennie frowned and asked her daughter confusedly. Oh, wait, I'll show you mommy," Ahyeon smiled and brought her hands through her pocket. "Here, take a look, mom, she's so pretty, but the quality of the picture seems to be too old."

Jennie's world stopped for a moment when she saw the pictures for the first time again.

"Ahyeon..."

"Yes, omma?"

"I—uhm...these pictures are really important to me. I am glad that you found them. I never expected that these pictures were still in my secret box."

"Oh, that's really nothing, mom; I just saw a small box in your closet, and that's why I found it.
So who is she? Is she your best friend or what" Ahyeon asked again, waiting for her mother to respond.

"No, not a friend or best friend. She's my soulmate, my first love. she's Lisa Manoban."

"First love? I thought dad was your first love?"

"Ahyeon, it's really hard to explain it, but I think you have the right to know about my past," Jennie said.

"Lisa is my first love...we've been together for 6 years. Everything is fine were happy and contented, she makes my heart happy so much..not until my mom told me that I am going back to new Zealand..."

"Mom want me to go back there and leave Lisa hanging....she want me to marry someone who can give me a family and can protect me, obviously she hates Lisa so much because of the fact that we are both girls. Of course I didn't agree, Lisa is my life. She is my everything I can't live without her, but mom told me that she will do something bad to Lisa if I will not follow her..." jennie added. Tears escaped from her beautiful cat eyes as she remembered that day.

"And what happened to Unnie Lisa now, mom? Where is she now? Can we still meet her?" Ahyeon said. "Sadly, my lili died when It was my second year in New Zealand."

"Oh, you're making me cry, mom," Ahyeon said. Jennie just chuckled at her daughter before turning her attention to Lisa's pictures.

Lisa loves to write a letter for Jennie; she always sent Jennie a letter and pictures when she was in New Zealand.

Jennie took one picture of Lisa; it was taken at their old school. Jennie flipped the picture, and there she saw the letter that Lisa used to write when she was far away.

She starts to read...

Dear Ruby Jane, my love

Hi, it's me, Lili! It's been 1 year and 4 months since you left. I just want you to know that I am doing great here and that I am studying hard for our future.

I am still hoping that we will see each other again, Nini. I am going to do everything and put all my efforts into showing your family that I am worth it for you. I love you, and you know that you're my everything.

I miss you so much, Jen. Please come back already. I am willing to fight just for you, my love. I'll wait for you to come home to me.

After reading it, she couldn't help but cry. She puts her hand in her mouth and starts to cry. She remembers that day when Lisa used to write her a letter, knowing that Lisa was always waiting for her to come home.

Lisa took her own life when she found out that I am marrying someone, and that is ahyeon's father. Kim taehyung.

I miss you too, Lili. Please wait for me up there. I'll be there for just a little bit. I'll come home to you, my love.
