I am 14 years old and have an older sister who loves basketball. Im pretty good at basketball but I dont play much. My sister is dating some YouTube guy named cam wilder. Who owes a aau team. He asked me and my sister to come out to their practice today so ig where Gonna go🤷♀️ __________________________________
We were in the car on the way there and my sister was talking "I hope they are filming today!" She says. "Oh" I say. "They will hopefully!! Cam hasn't put me in a video yet" she says. "Oh I'm sure he will" I say shrugging. My sister pulls up and parks her car into a parking spot. We see cam and a camera guy running twards our car. "Hey babe" my sister says getting out the car hugging cam. I got out to and smiled at him with a small wave. "Ok guys" he says twards the camera. "This is my girlfriend and her sister they are going to be in the video today practicing with rwe aau team" he says. The guy shuts the camera off and we all start to walk inside.
We here some commotion as we come in. "Yo Nelson!!!" A tall guy with braids in his hair yell running twards a curly blonde haired kid. "Lavar shut the fuck up!!" The blonde boy who in guessing is named Nelson yells back. As they both laugh. I look at my sister with a weird face. "Sorry that's Nelson. He's 14 and our youngest player on the aau team." Cam says pointing to the blonde. "Oh it's ok" my sister says. "Ok let's get practice started." Cam says. "Ok" my sister says. I was watching all the guys run around the court like one big Family. They seem to have an amazing bond. "Ok girls where gonna pick teams and make a game plan." Cam tells me and my sisters he split the up and then me and my sister up. I got but with the tall guy and the blonde boy and 2 others. It was a small team here but in guessing some ppl didn't show up.
"Ok guys make ur game plans." Cam says. We all huddled together and lavar said some plays and the boys agreed. "Alr Nelson I want u to dunk" lavar says. "Fuck u Lavar" nelson says. "I didn't do anything wrong" Lavar says making everyone but nelson laugh. "You know what I'll dunk just to prove u wrong." Nelson says. "Ok everyone get on the court" Lavar says. We all get on the court. They started the game. It felt weird playing with older kids but it's alr. I had the ball and was running down the court dribbling the ball. As I pasted it to Lavar a guy from the other team slams into me. "shit" I yell as I fall. I get right back up as ppl glance at me. I stand up quickly running to where everyone was.
I glanced at the guy who pushed me then watch where the ball was. Lavar had passed it to Nelson and Nelson was gonna try and dunk. "Get the girl." Lavar yells. Nelson looks at me. I look confused asf. But then realize what he's saying. "Oh" I say. Nelson gives me and good pass and I catch the ball. Dribbling it over to the hoop I still dribble blocking all the guys who try and take the ball and my sister too. As nelson breaks the circle around me the camera guy come running to get a good shot. Nelson lifts me as I try and dunk but we both just end up falling. We both lie on the floor laughing as cam starts walking over. "Nelson u can't drop her." Cam says. "Mb coach daddy cammy" Nelson says I laugh abit more. "Ru ok?" Cam asks. "Yeah I'm fine." I say sitting up. Nelson sits up to. Everyone was still running around the court but just joking and not accually playing the game. My sister had sat down and was on her phone. "So u wanna join the team?" Cam asks me. "Isn't this a boys team?" I ask. "I mean kinda where aloud 1 girl a team" he says. "Oh well I'll have to talk to my mom." I say. "Ok- woah Nelson what are you doing ayooo" cam say as he looks at Nelson who's aggressively rolling on the floor laughing. "Kid calm down" I say laughing. Nelson starts laughing to. "Ok go get ur stuff and get ur sister we need to film." Cam says. "Ok"I say. Me and Nelson stand up walking to where my sister was. "I don't think I got ur name." He says looking at me. "Oh uh yeah it's Liz" I say smiling. "Im nelson, nelson nuemann" nelson says smiling. "Yeh ik" I joke as he shoves me jokingly. We look back to see the camera man behind us filming us. I look back at Nelson with an awkward smile and so does he.
