"Yaaawn. Hmmm? We're back here again?" I opened my eyes to the sound of Eeuna's voice and I saw a girl with a blue dress and green hair. This was where I met the devil merchant, Mephiles. I recognized it instantly, the brimstone, the red carpet, the fire and the fact that I can actually see Eeuna due to this meeting taking place in my dream and not actually in hell.

"Yes. It, we are here again." I remembered what happened after my victory over Dedaim. It was decided that nobody become Archbishop and that instead, it would be better if the power of the church was split between the bishops. That way it's harder for someone like Dedaim abuse their position. In compensation, I was given 50 gold and the tenets were changed so that mages would be treated a bit better, though in all honesty I cared more for the money. I had my suspicions that old members of the clergy would be angered at the change with the tenets (I imagine those same clergymen would've agreed with some of what Dedaim said and did. But they still didn't like the man. And rightfully so, even my patience was tested by the former archbishop) but younger people would be indifferent about it. Then there was a great feast along with the Qetnos worshippers, who provided the food and then I went to sleep in my usual room.

"That is correct. You are here again. And it is good to speak with you once more" Mephiles with his red skin and horns sat on a throne with the book called "The Laws of Hell" in his right hand, which I swear had more pages than last time.

"So why are you here? It's not a coincidence that you're visiting me the day I cause the church to have a revolution." I said bluntly.

"Correct. Us meeting here is no coincidence and I'm not here strictly to make a deal. Rather I'm here to reward you for a job well done" He answered.

"What?" I admit, I was a bit confused by that.

"Allow me to explain. Do you remember that man in purple?" He said.

"Oh yes. The mage who killed himself with poison."

"Do you remember what he said before dying?"

"Something like THE DARK GOD ZALEU WILL RISE AGAIN!" I said as dramatically and theatrically as I could.

"Well you see, Zaleu is a bit famous- or infamous depending on who you ask down here in hell. A long time ago, before I was even alive she was supposedly once a god but somehow lost her power and wound up in hell. From there she started making a name for herself and rising up the ranks of hell by doing deals and signing the right contracts. Many devils, myself included try to avoid her. She's volatile and dangerous."

"What does the man in purple have to do with this though?"

"He once served me and promised to sell his soul to me when he died, but one day he betrayed me over Zaleu, likely in hopes she would become a god again and give him special treatment or something, fool. What he didn't realise is that by dying, I am now in possession of his soul and have become a smidge more powerful. I have you to thank for that."

"So a servant of a dark god was manipulating an archbishop?"

"So in compensation," He continued, ignoring me "I shall grant you almost anything you desire" The devil looked at me with a devilish smlile and I couldn't help but smile in return. This must be what they call a devil's charm.

"Anything I desire huh?"" I looked down at my robes. They were covered in grime, stitches, stains and all manner of filth. I felt guilty. My aunt made these robes specifically for me when I was little and I always took good care of them, but now they were in tatters. "Well I could use new robes."

"And a bath. Yeesh you smell horrible" Eeuna chimed in with a judging tone.

Embarrassed and annoyed, I replied "Nobody asked for your opinion Eeuna.... but that is correct. I could also use a bath"

"Well you are in luck. I just happen to know a tailor right in Thele city. Seek Gadri's Garbs in the noble's district and tell the owner that M sent you. As for the bath, there are many bathhouses you can afford that are also in the noble's district, but I don't have connections with any of them." The devil explained comprehensively.

"Thank you. It's been a pleasure to see you again." I replied politely

"Oh I assure you... the pleasure is all mine"
