Dylan needed  to run so she did just that.

Dylan dashed through the trees at a frantic pace, an arrow nocked shakily into her bow as she screamed for Jonathan and Nancy.

The Demogorgon was probably the most fascinating and horrifying creature she had ever seen, adrenaline was probably keeping her from screaming but she knew once she got back, if she ever got back, this wasn't something therapy could just fix.

"JONATHON? NANCY?"  Dylan yelled as she looked at the surrounding trees, trying to find the one with the gate. The Demogorgon couldn't be seen but its low growls kept coming closer so Dylan could only run.

Back in Hawkins, Jonathan and Nancy were worriedly searching for their best friend. When they found each other but no trace of Dylan, the two immediately worried that the monster had got her too.

"DYLAN? DYLAN WHERE ARE YOU?" Jonathan yelled as Nancy looked through the dark trees.

"JONATHON?" Dylan gasped when she heard his faint cry.

"DYLAN? DYLAN WHERE ARE YOU?" Nancy screamed when they heard the girl's faint yell.

"JONATHON NANCY PLEASE!" Dylan cried as her bow trembled in her hands. The girl heard a low snarl and gasped, immediately turning to hide behind a tree as the Demogordons growls came closer.

"Fuck im gonna die." Dylan shut her eyes.

"NANCY CMERE!" Jonathan yelled as he stumbled up the strange-looking tree. The two teenagers crouched in front of the dark slimy hold, a hole big enough for a person to crawl through.

They exchanged scared glances as they shone their flashlight at the hole, the dark reddish glow and slime were enough of a sign of where Dylan was.

"DYLAN, FOLLOW THE SOUND OF MY VOICE!" Dylan heard the faint echo of Jonathon's voice. She turned to her right and there it was, the gate in the tree just a few feet away from her.

But so was the Demogorgon.

Dylan took in a deep breath, she wasn't dying tonight. Not here, not now, not without at least saying goodbye to Dustin and her friends. The girl shut her eyes and took in a final breath before she spun around the tree, aimed her arrow, and sent it flying right into the Demogorgon's neck.

The creature shrieked in agony and while it withered in pain, Dylan dashed over to the gate and slid onto the ground to crawl in.

Jonathan and Nancy felt like they were going crazy, Dylan had been silent on the other side of the gate the whole time while they kept yelling her name. The teenagers started to lose hope but gasped and scrambled back when a hand burst through the slimy hole.

"JONATHON, NANCY!" Dylan's voice screamed.

"DYLAN!" The two exclaimed as they quickly took her hand and pulled her out of the gate. The trio stumbled backward as Dylan was finally pulled out and landed on the both of them.

The three teenagers sobbed in relief as they wrapped Dylan in an tight hug, watching as the gate closed itself up, turning back into the bark of a tree.
