Chapter 3

**Kay's POV**

We arrived my apartment.

The guys and girls sat down in the sitting room and I quickly took Maya upstairs, bathed her and tucked her in bed.

I came downstairs and all eyes were on me

"So do you mind now if you tell us what went wrong out there?" Louis asked

"I asked about your parents" Liam replied after Louis

My head was down and when i looked up, they were red

"Kay, c'mon tell us" said Ella coming up to me
I finally summoned courage to talk

"My parents know about it. When I told my mum, she told me that she had divorced my dad and my dad was furious and was about to kill her but another gunshot was heard and thats how she saw my dad lying helpless on the floor. It was a policeman that shot him. Am quite sure, the neighbours called the attention of the police. My mum had a few bruises but she was fine. When I gave birth to Maya, she came to visit me in the hospital with my bestfiend, Sam and told me that she knew she never had time for me when I was younger thats why i got pregnant but that she promises to be a better mother and grand mother. I was the only child she had. I never had the opportunity of having a father. I didnt even know what it felt like. I dont want Maya to go through the same she is still young and I love her very much. Thats why she can easily identify her dad. I told her all about Liam when she was ony 1 and a half years old and she understood everything." I ended sniffling.

Zayn, Louis,Niall, Ella, Kira, Eleanor and Liam were already crying. The rest were clse to tears.

"Am sorry Kay if i forced you" said Liam

"No its..."

"Mummy, mummy, I love you very much" Maya said running towards me. She had heard everything I said and she was crying

"Maya i thought i put you to bed" I said wiping her tears. She hugged me very tight. Fear of loosing a mother. I knew how she felt. She got off my arms and went to Liam's armsa

"Daddy, I love you too" she said hugging Liam tightly.

"I love you two" said Liam hugging both Maya and I. Maya had slept crying. I didnt want that for her

"Its late already. We cant go home now. Mind if we stay over?" Harry asked

"Sure. You guys ae welcomed anytime. Make yourself comfortable" I replied

"Way ahead of you Kay" Niall said as he spread his legs on the couch. Kira hit him hard. I just smiled at both of them.

"Eleanor and I have booked the extra room" said Louis going to the extra room

"Niall and I have booked the last room" said Kira, making her way to the room

"Hey not fair" harry said and Zayn nodded in agreement

"Dont worry. I'll make this place more comfortable for you" I said as i brought two pillows and four blamkets giving the pillows and blankets to each couple.

"Goodnight Kay" said Harry as he planted a friendly kiss on my cheeks so did Zayn and I blushed all the way up the the room liam, Maya and I were gonna share. When Liam entered he was surprised and saw pictures of One direction. I had a large pictue of Liam who made love sign with his hands.

"So you love One Direction"

"Well, I did it for Maya so she could know her dad" I said as he quietly put Maya in her cot

"Hmmmm. I believe"

"C'mon, am not lieing"

"Ok i believe you"
