Chapter 1

You woke up to knocking sounds. Tao opened your door. "Its your first day at Truham. Come on Y/N, i don't want to be late." He said, sleepily, already in his uniform. You smile. Tao went downstairs to get some breakfast. You got out of bed. You started getting dressed into the Truhams uniform. You stopped before putting your binder on. You looked at all the cuts on your wrists. You sighed. You cover them with your long sleeve blouse. You tied your tie around your neck and put your blazer on.

Your parents had kicked you out 2 days ago for coming out as trans and Tao found you in the park. His mother let you stay and you got the guest bedroom. Tao's mother is a lovely person. She took you to get a haircut and got you a binder. It was the summer holidays but now, its your first day at Truham. You were very nervous but remembered you promised your friend Elle that you'd meet up with her because today was her first day at Higgs. You finished putting some makeup on (to look more masculine) and went down to get some breakfast.

Tao and Yan (mothers name) were waiting downstairs. Yan squealed and Tao smiled. "You look so good!" Yan shouted and hugged you. You hugged her back. You looked at tao and raised an eyebrow. He smiled and rolled his eyes playfully. He walked towards you two and joined the hug. "We best be off. Don't want to be late on Y/N's first day!" Tao said nudging your shoulder. You smiled. "Wait, Y/N! Do you want any breakfast?" Yan asked. You laughed "no thanks. I'll get something from the shop" you say. She nodded.

Tao held out his arm. You rolled your eyes and intertwined your arm with his.  You and Tao walked out the door and went to the shops. You didnt see Charlie in there but you saw Isacc. "You got a haircut!" He said, smiling. "Yeah! Does it look good?" You say a bit nervous. He nodded. You smiled. Tao went to get His and Elles apple juice. You frowned but thought it'd be funny so you didn't say that elle wasn't at the school anymore.

"Y/N do you want any breakfast?" Tao asked. You shook your head and laughed. "No im not hungry." Tao looked at you. "You didnt pack any lunch." He reminded you. You frowned. "Huh. I guess i didnt. I didnt have time. Nah. Im used to not eating till the evening." You said. "My mum will not be happy if she finds out. I'll get you a pack of doritos just incase." He says. You sighed, smiling.

Your parents made you hate your weight, they told you to stop eating so much. They stoped feeding you so you had to feed yourself, which was not often. You got used to not eating. You started to live with the fear that you'd grow fat of you ate normally. You knew that Tao's mother would be fine with you eating and she would feel bad if you didn't eat at least two meals a day. But you were scared. You couldn't.

You 3 and Isaccs book left the shop once Tao and Isacc got what they wanted.  You met Charlie on the way and he was shocked. "Haircut?! Our uniform?! You really do look like a boy!" He said. You smiled and hugged him. He chuckled slightly. He hugged you back.

You 4 and Isaccs book kept walking along and you met Elle. You were talking about the schools while the 3 boys and Isaccs book were walking infront. You got to the path divide. "Good luck." You and Elle said at the same time. You both giggled. You hugged her. Once you had said goodbyes, You caught up to the boys. You got some stares and heard one student say "i thought girls were allowed in sixth-form. Not year 10." You just rolled your eyes and prepared yourself for this school year.
