Ranboo, a lonely and exhausted 16 year old. He didn't have the best childhood or life in general, but he did what he needed to do for survival. He was walking down the street, doing his usual routine of pick-pocketing strangers who just so happened to bump into him and didn't even notice he existed. He sat on the sidewalk, reeking with the smell of sweat. It even made him gag, the summer heat was killing him. He dug through his pockets, finding a wadded up 10 dollar bill. He sighed, standing up and dusted himself off before walking into a nearby Subway and he ordered whatever he could with his money. He went back to the sidewalk where he had all his stuff, he stomped and clenched his fists as someone had stole his stuff again He rolled his eyes, he was used to people stealing his stuff at this point. He sat in his spot, unwrapping his sandwich and pulled down his mask and took a big bite out of the sandwich. A stray dog walked up to him, whining as it panted while wagging its tail, Ranboo pulled his mask back up and looked at the dog and smiled as he scratched its head.

"Hey little guy, you want some?"

The dog crawled into Ranboo's lap and slobbered on his jeans, Ranboo chuckled before splitting the sandwich and half and letting the dog eat his share. After the dog ate the sandwich, it ran away. Now, Ranboo may have a record for not being the world's nicest person, but he did have a heart. The rest of the day flew by before he could even blink, it was nighttime. Ranboo tossed and turned the entire night, mumbling and groaning in his sleep. He was having yet another nightmare involving his parents, whenever Ranboo had those nightmares it made him feel like the most shittiest person alive. He gasped for air, waking up and taking a deep breathe. He looked the empty street, sighing in relief. Although the nightmare about his parents almost made him feel bad, he was the reason they were dead anyways. He shook his head, rolling his eyes as he whispered out loud to himself.

"No, they don't deserve pity."

Ranboo stared blankly at the ground, clenching his fists. He wasn't gonna back to sleep anytime soon, so he decided to walk around the city and admire the displays in the windows. The Summer had ended, transitioning into the Fall and Ranboo's 17th Birthday was actually coming up very soon. He dreaded it, he thought they were pointless and just reminded you that you're getting old. He was on his daily stroll through when he bumped into Sneeg, a popular villain was walking down the streets one day in his casual wear when he saw Ranboo looking at him. Ranboo had recognized him off of the news, or the general public speaking about it. Sneeg began walking alongside the 17 year old kid, on the outside Ranboo was calm on the outside but on the inside he was freaking out. He seriously was walking alongside his idol, sure was it weird for him to adore a villain? maybe. But after all, he didn't really fit in the heroic category. Sneeg scratched his neck, before clearing his throat and asking Ranboo the following.

"You look a little young to be out on your own,  where's your parents?"

Ranboo looked up from his phone and paused his music before taking out his AirPods, rolling his eyes as he glared at Sneeg. Deep inside, he felt noticed that someone was actually talking to a homeless bozo like him. Especially someone as great as his idol, but on the outside he knew he had to keep the bitchy attitude to protect himself.

"I'm not young, I'm 17. And they're dead."

Sneeg's eyes widened, he blinked rapidly and looked away before nervously laughing. He looked back at Ranboo, and shook his head as he walked into a coffee shop with Ranboo.

"Oh, okay. That's dark, Jesus Christ."

Ranboo cracked a weak laugh, he looked Sneeg up and down for a minute. Not being totally sure if he could trust him, even if he was his idol. He had a hard time trusting anyone with all the times he's been betrayed and hurt by pretty much everyone he knew. Including his own mother and father, unfortunately.

"So, what do you want? 'Cause it's not everyday a popular villain comes up to some homeless kid and asks them right off the bat about their life."

Sneeg laughed, he looked and made sure nobody was overhearing their conversation. Sitting down at a table inside of the café, and patting the table where the second chair was gesturing Ranboo to take a seat. The waiter came over to them and gave a kind smile as she brushed her hair out of her face before asking.

"What can I get for you two?"

Sneeg looked at the lady, he came to this café often so the workers usually remembered his order. It took a minute for the waitress to recognize Sneeg but it clicked as she gave him a good look, she smiled and nodded and wrote on her tiny yellow notepad what Sneeg was getting which was a Caffè Americano. The waitress glanced at Ranboo, doodling on her notepad as she asked him what he would like. Ranboo blinked rapidly, he had to think for a moment because it wasn't often that he drank coffee.

"Can I just get an ice water?"

The waitress nodded, writing that down too and making doodles of Sneeg and Ranboo before walking off. As they waited for their drinks, Sneeg tapped his fingers on the table and looked at Ranboo who was scrolling through TikTok on his phone. Sneeg cleared his throat, raising an eyebrow as he scratched his beard and talked to Ranboo in a fatherly tone.

"Can you get off of your phone? I brought you here for a reason, y'know."

Ranboo sighed, shutting his phone off and resting it on the black metal round shaped table. He smirked and rolled his eyes as he said sarcastically with a little sass in his tone, which was typical for teenagers.

"Go ahead, the floor is all yours."

Sneeg cleared his throat, right before he started speaking the waitress came back with their drinks then Sneeg handed her enough money to pay for both drinks and watched as she walked away to ensure she wasn't overhearing their conversation. While Sneeg and the waitress did have a bond formed, she didn't know he was a villain. He didn't share that with many people, only people he knew he could trust with his life. Sneeg looked back at Ranboo, gripping onto the cup and taking a sip then setting the cup down onto the table. He didn't let go of the cup though, keeping his hands wrapped around it as he enjoyed the warmth of the scalding coffee.

"Anyways, as I was saying I brought you here for a reason. Because, I wanted to offer you an... interesting job."

Ranboo was intrigued, he raised his eyebrows and nodded at Sneeg and listened as Sneeg continued talking about his proposition.

"We're looking for more trainees, the amount of villains lately has been decreasing mainly because they're dying or joining the heroes. So, someone we would need is you."

Ranboo was shocked, he bounced his leg anxiously as he adjusted his mask before pulling it down to take a sip of his water. He was speechless, the last thing he was expecting to be offered a job as a villain.

"Me? are you sure? Listen, I don't think that's such a good idea. I appreciate the offer, and I'm grateful I met you in person, but I don't think I can do that."

Ranboo cleared his throat, standing up and grabbing his phone and drink when he was about to head out the door. Sneeg quickly stood up, grabbing his belongings as well before catching up to Ranboo who was already across the street.

"Wait, kid listen to me for a minute! I just need you to hear me out, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! And last time I checked, you weren't incredibly busy and had anything going on with your life. So what do you say?"

Ranboo turned around, his eyes lighting up as he saw how confident was and making Ranboo a villain. It's almost as if this was Ranboo's calling, his destiny maybe.
