It's too late (Calum Hood) {ON HOLD}

Chapter 9

*Kat's pov*

We walked to the building but when we wanted to go inside a guard held me back.
"She belongs with us" Luke said, the guard nodded and let go off me. We went further into the building and with every step I got more nervous. What is Calum going to do? When we were backstage Calum pointed for me to sit down on the couch. I did what he told and while waiting for them to come back I went on Twitter. I scrolled through my timeline and saw that the tweets were all about one thing.
'@im_mateja: omg I can't wait till the concert tonight!!'
'@SparkleBearLuke: they said they needed to tell us something? I hope it's something positive!'
'@triclightluke: Ashton bang me like your going to bang your drums tonight!!!!'

I chuckled at that last tweet.
But I hope it's not me 'that thing they need to tell them' cuz I can't stand on a stage in front of a thousand people. I will faint.

The boys came back dressed in other clothes.
"Guys-" I was cut off by Michael, again.
"Shhh" Michael said putting his finger again on my lips.
"Michael stop it" I said slapping his hand away.
"Guys seriously-" This time Calum cut me off.
"Just trust me Kat, okay?" I nodded and sat back on the couch. Tapping my foot uncontrollably fast on the ground.

Suddenly all the lights went out and the guys went over to the stage leaving me alone with some other men working backstage. Ashton began to play his drums, still with all the lights out. The crowd went crazy. Then Calum started playing. I felt a smile coming up.
Then all the lights went on again while Luke and Michael started playing. While still playing Luke shouted in the mic:" Hey Sydney!!! How're you doing?". The crowd screamed and that probably meant they were great.

Thy started playing unpredictable.
"She sits at home with the lights out, seeing life in different colours." Luke started singing.

The song was over and Calum took the mic and looked backstage directly at me. Oh no.
"So guys, I have someone to announce you to" he said gesturing for me to come. I shook my head, I was too afraid I couldn't do this.
"Wait just a second guys" Calum said to the crowd.

He ran over to me.
"What's wrong, is everything alright?" He said entangling our fingers.
"No, I can't do this Calum" I started to walk away but Calum grabbed my wrist. I flinched, oh yeah the cuts. Calum looked confused but shook it off.

"What do you mean you can't do it?" He asked.

"That, standing on a stage with over a thousand people looking at me" I said pointing to the stage.

"Baby c'mon, do it for me. Please!" He said with puppy eyes. Aaahh he knows I can't say no when he does that.

"Fine" I said rolling my eyes.
Calum held my hand and guided me towards the stage. As we came up the crowd cheered.

"Okay so guys this is Kaitlyn!" Calum said into the mic. Again the crowd cheered. Wow I was expecting they were going to yell boohh.

"We are now dating for awhile, but two days ago I did something really stupid, and now she wants me to prove that I'm really sorry so," Calum said bending on one knee and grabbing my hand. Wait what. Calum probably saw my expression.

"Don't worry I'm not gonna propose to you" he said chuckling. I sighed of relief.

"Kaitlyn I am truly sorry and I love you more than anyone could ever love someone, will you please be my girlfriend?" Everyone went aww even the boys did. I smiled bright and nodded.

Calum stood up and hugged me tight.
"I love you" Calum said while still hugging me.
"I love you too" I said back.

We pulled away and intertwined our fingers.
Calum pecked my lips and everyone went aww again.

Suddenly I felt something sting. Ashton came running towards me.
"Uhm Kat you're bleeding" he said pointing at my wrist. I looked and saw that my whole sleeve was covered in blood.

I looked up and saw that now Calum also noticed it. I ran of stage and searched immediately for a bathroom or just something that had water. I heard footsteps coming from behind me.

"Come follow me, here's a bathroom" Calum said. I followed him into the bathroom and quickly pulled up my sleeve. I took of the bandage and put my arm under the cold water.

Calum gasped as he saw the scars.
"I-is that because of me?" He said stuttering.

"No, but I will tell you another time. Now isn't the good moment" I said focusing on the blood that wouldn't stop.

"That's it, I'm riding you to the hospital" he said grabbing his jacket. Oh god it's my fault the concert is ruined. Now their fans are going hate me.

When we where on our way to the hospital I felt suddenly extremely light headed.

"Calum I-I'm not feeling well" I said while my vision was getting blurry.

"Hold on babe we're almost there" he said holding my hand.

When we pulled on the parking lot of the hospital Calum jumped out of the car and ran towards my door. He grabbed me out of the car.

"Calum let-let me walk" I said feeling even more light headed. Suddenly my vision went all black and the last thing I heard was Calum screaming for help.

*Calum's pov*

I screamed for help as I saw that Kat fainted. I picked her up and ran inside the hospital.
"Someone help my girlfriend fainted on the parking lot and she is bleeding really bad!!!" I screamed. A few nurses came and led me to a room.

"Lay her on the bed" a nurse instructed me. I did and the nurse checked her wrist.
"Okay I can still hear a heartbeat" the nurse said to the other one. They rolled the over to the hallway and into another room. I followed them.

"Sorry you can't come inside" a doctor said pushing me back.
"Why not that's my girlfriend!" I shouted at the doctor.

"I'm sorry sir but you can't come in, while you wait you can eat something in the cafeteria" and with that he shut the door.

"Shit" I mumbled while walking towards the cafeteria.
Suddenly my phone went off.
It was Michael.

"Michael?" I said as I answered the phone.
"Calum where the hell are you?!" Michael asked.

"I'm at the hospital with Kat" I said still searching for the cafeteria.

"What? Why?" Michael asked confused.
"I will explain it when I get home" I said. I hung up the phone not waiting for Michael's answer.

I finally found the cafeteria and decided to eat something.

After waiting an half hour a doctor came towards me.
"Are you Calum Hood?" He asked looking at me. I nodded.

"I'm sorry but I have bad news" he said. I tensed up.

"What? She isn't dead is she?" I asked maybe a bit too loud.

"No but she's in a coma, and there's a pretty big change she will never wake up." He said with a sympathetic tone. I felt my eyes getting teary.

"H-how?" I said looking at the ground.

"The cuts on her wrist were too deep, she lost a big amount of blood" the doctor said.

Tears were now running down my face. Please let this be a dream.
