“We all know what you're capable of, Florent”
He slowly tilted his head and it made Thia flinched as a smirk slowly curved in his lips. Jin gives a side-along glance at him where it made him gulped.
“Is that how you view me Forsythia?” Ren asked.
“Muntikan mo na diba mapatay noon si Marcel diba?” pagpapaalala niya pero kinabahan siya ng hindi nawala ang ngisi sa labi ni Ren dahiln napalunok siya mula sa matalim niyang titig. “Florent, did you really do it? Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakita ko noong araw na 'yun”
“What do you think Forsythia?” he asked again.
“Florent, we all know you hated him the most” Jin interrupted them where Ren's gaze landed on him then he continued. “Hanggang ngayon ay hindi namin maintindihan kung saan nangaling ang malalim na galit mo sa kanya. May malaki ka na motibo laban—”
“So you view me as a killer too Joaquin” Ren nonchalantly cutted off his words.
Jin quickly stood up from his seat. “Hindi naman sa gaanon Ren. Para sa akin lang, ikaw ang huling tao na nakita namin doon sa crime scene. May motibo ka din para patayin si Marcel. I don't know how you manage to destroy your traces in the scenes but if those exist ikaw talaga ang magiging prime suspect” pagrarason niya.
“Its still the same thing” Ren retorted. “You saw me as a criminal already. Takot na ba kayong dalawa?”
“Florent, we're friends remember?” Thia tried to smile at him but he didn't reacted at all. She inhaled deeply and remained her composure in front of him. “Nandito kami para sa'yo kahit ano man ang mangyari pero paano namin 'yan gagawin kung hindi ka totoo sa amin”
“Do you even trust us?” Jin questioned him.
“I never trusted anyone exept Papa” Ren answered.
“Do you even see as your friends?” his voice began to get shaken then his mouth went agape when Ren shooked his head. “Ano ba ang tingin mo sa amin?”
“Just people that I got acquainted” Ren said.
Tears started to form in Thia's eyes and it went redish. She lowered down her head then couldn't control to cry. Agad naman lumapit sa kanyang tabi si Jin na halos hindi na siya tumigil sa paghikbi.
“Florent...” mahinang sambit ni Thia.
“I will tell you the truth about that night if that's what you really wanted” he replied.
Parehong nanlaki ang mga mata nila Thia at Jin. Tinitigan nila si Ren ng ilang sandali na hindi binawi ang sinabi. Mas umiyak si Thia habang nagsalubong ang kilay ni Jin ng makitang walang emosyon ang kaibigan ng sinabi ang mga salita na 'yun.
“W-Why?...”
“Bago ko 'yan sabihin. Pwede palabasin ang sinama ko na kasama, Joaquin?“ pinagkrus ni Ren ang braso sabay tumingin sa malaking kurtinang nakatakip sa bintana. “Lumabas ka na diyan dahil kanina ko pa napapansin ang presensya mo. Nakakainis na may nakatingin sa amin”
